Originally by: Kerr AVON Sorry Baldour, I thought connections wasn't taken into account. My modified standing was +8.64 - which concurs with your assumptions.
In hindsight, it looks as though all the rumours about increased standing reqs, standing reqs being unmodified, etc. ... were all incorrect, the agents had simply been disabled by error.
The last figures I have that were definitely right at the time, were 8.6, 9.2, 9.8. Now that we know they're working again, we need to collect more information to prove or disprove their accuracy.
Thx for your input, anyway ________________________________________________

Well there are a few tiny thingsą
1.The new transport the homeless mission no longer gives you some of the homeless at the end. They must no longer fear the local authorities. Was this intentional to decrease the homeless population or an oversight? 2.Not complaining but am I the only one whoĘs gotten Whispers in the Dark important storyline seven times in a row lately? 3.I did a level 3 courier mission that had me go a grand total of 1,247 km.
And then thisą

I decided that since I was at 8.53 (8.40) with the Amarr Empire and still had a few of those Whispers in the Dark storylines clogging up my journal that I would pop up and find the agents now, and then come back when I was at 8.6. Well to my surprise the frigate agent offered me the mission. So it looks like 8.5 might be the magic number for that one.

Yay for level 4 distro agents that dispatch you to 0.3 and pay you 300k (with bonus) and give you 400lp for the privilage!
Did it anyway, cos like most other people in this thread, um a hauler *****.
Anyway, is that still the norm for courier missions atm or is my agent just being a tart?

Just as an update, I was turned away by the bs agent at Jolia / Augnais (sp?) gate earlier today with a modified Gallente Federation standing 9.81 (unmodified 9.77). Starting the long slog to 9.9 as we speak

Another little update confirming that 9.2 standing is required for the cruiser agents. 9.22 (9.07) Amarr standing got me the cruiser, 9.1 wouldnĘt.

...And disabled COSMOS agents?
The disabled high-standing COSMOS agents have been re-enabled. I honestly have no idea why they were disabled, probably some mass-update gone wrong. This change probably won't take effect until after the next downtime though.
For all I can see they are still disabled. Maybe you have enabled them, but the next patch ad disabled them again. Even if you have the required standing and not done a mission for them, they still say they have no mission for you.

Firstly I'm pretty sure its your un-modded standing that is required.
Secondly, please fix the courier missions before Kali-2, this is totally destroying the implant market.

Edited by: Yumi Katanawe on 08/11/2006 13:59:55 +4 implants are at 40m now - at the current rate by the time kali2 hits those will be given out for free.
edit: it matters because implants are the way non-sploiting mission runners cash in lp's. Or they did. Now we all gotta move into caldari space because the cnr is the best-selling faction bs. Yay for more caldari space overcrowding.

What do you mean?
Are you asking how these "broken" courier missions are affecting the implant market?
a) Now that some time has passed, the "broken" courier missions have nearly the same LP rewards as previous "huge cargo" courier missions. As a result, people are racking up massive amounts of LPs by nanoceptoring L4s. (Note: I've heard that not all agents give out lots of "broken" missions, but Gallente Production agents definately do.)
b) Since the "broken" courier missions can be nanoceptored easily, someone running them will get LOTS of storyline missions with +4 implants as rewards. ------------ Ezra Cornell pe0n, Calista Industries |

The problem is too late to fix. People have now learned that they have afk run 10+ courier missions an hour while pvping with their main. Its like everyone has their own personal 10/10 plex without the risk.
Even if CCP fix's it - the change will have to mean that CCP will need to make all Lvl4 courier a freightor mission - otherwise people will gladly forgo some standing to mass spam easy missions.
I remember the days where lvl4 courier runners got laughed at by pretty much everyone. Now they are run by sweatshop farmers and pvpers who relise that making 200 mil+ a day afk is something they want :) --- Slot 10 Akemons Modified 'Noble'Zet 5000 implant +8% Armour FREE |

Running only Amarr and Caldari lvl 4's (and lots of them) I can say that I have never once seen one of these bugged missions. Every mission I've seen has been around 1000 m3 to 5000 m3. I guess the Gallente just have it easy.

Yeah, nothing "broken" that I see. Of course, nobody would actually say a name/corp of an lvl 4 agent that does these 1m*3 missions

I did all of my first lvl4 courier missions with an Atron (the Federal Freight one in Bawilan, quality -19 or something) and quit mission running afterwards until a fix is applied.
From what I've heard, it's the higher quality lvl4 agents that give out higher volume missions.

I will.
At Joviannon IV Federal Frieght station. 3 - 4 l4's that commonly give out 1 - 3 m3 missions. You can find all kinds of farmer alts throughout the that system and area just pumping missions.
That's just one example btw.
