Medals are not distributed automatically, they need to be made. You can read here:

I remember that Gallente has asked for a medal, and people both from Gallente and even Caldari supported that idea, since Caldari also got theirs years earlier.
Personally, complete FW control is an achievement, a rare one at that. I would not oppose a medal. However, if this would be a frequent thing, then I agree that an additional medal would become worthless, perhaps a "Issued Twice" or something could be added. I don't know.
All I know is if people have the slightest hope to get a medal, then people from all FW areas need to unite here and kindly ask CCP for one, as has happened with Gallente.

if you join opposing side militia sure ! but with friendly militias, should be able to keep it for logical reasons :) |

it is always motivating to hear support from veteran players, even if they are on the opposite side. Many of us Caldari have also supported you to get a medal, it is always nice to see this happening the other way around too. Let's hope CCP is in a good mood, would for sure be a nice christmas present. |

Great to see so much support from opposite/enemy alliances, it is great to know despite the differences, that people stick together regarding FW. |

Pretty sad that you even take into consideration option that there won't be medal for this.
We enslaved those scoundrels ... i'm sure Jamyl Sarum want to give us nice medal for that. Second grade, as the junior war zone has so many less systems. Maybe a combat ribbon instead?

As far as the GalMil with their claim for a second. I would suggest the real life precedence (British) whereby a bar would be awarded for the second and subsequent awards. In short the first medal would be withdrawn and replaced with a very similar medal but "2" or some other distinguishing mark embedded in the ribbon. Or the German precedence of awarding an extra bit of the medal for each subsequent award eg Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (1) with Oak Leaves (2), Swords (3) and Diamonds (4). May there be no Amarr medal until Gallente get their Oak Leaves!
Knowing this comes from you, safe to say then that we got your support, thanks ! Remember, we held the warzone for a week after capturing it for the first time, and not for a couple of hours, where Gallente still got their glorious medal ;) |

We didn't get our 2nd one, which was a hard fought second; the militia, with all the mechanics and odds against it, won it first after the Inferno changes. And i'm sure the lore plans and events had a large impact on the Roden letter we received.
Still, this shouldn't have come as a surprise to you guys. Give it time. The victory came with very odd timing.
If you want my advice, edit all your whining with "Amarr Victor" and maybe these vikings will be more inclined to answer.
First of all, post with your main or nobody will take you serious.
Second, what do you mean, we have lost a system and quickly regained it? The Amarr militia was since the introduction of FW, fighting for all systems and have ultimately conquered them all after many years...
Also, the first time Gallente got their medal, they held all systems for a couple of ours, yet, many of Calmil guys, Amarr, showed support in your medal whining thread, and then you did get a medal, so perhaps log in with your main and post some support here, like some of the other gallente and minmatar vets did.
As for second medals. People don't necessarily need a second medal but the "ISSED x times" should be updated, so if you won twice, you get a issued twice of the same medal, that would be fair, if not getting a second medal.
Please note. Calmil held all systems after the first domination for several months. Amarr for one week, Gallente the first time for a couple of hours, so since CCP is always referring to the first total warzone controls by issuing medals, it would be fair to do so now with Amarr. |
