by the way... anyone having problems running more than 1 account since tuesdays bm nerf patch (tm) was suposed to optimize the server but I swear its been worse?

please consider disabling the trial accounts while the server is having issues, even if it only helps a tiny bit its a good sign for us paying customers, and having people try out your game while its in a bad way isnt exactly a good way to get people to buy the game.

I work for BT, and im telling you, as a Corporate Client, we could have some hardware delivered installed and supported in 2-3 weeks. Even quicker if you wanted to pay more....
Whats the hassle CCP?
Order more kit
Kick the trial accounts temporarily
Kick all BM/BP's from being copied
Take control of your game please, for those of us that want to play and are paying to (try!) to do so

Well the BM copy nerf didn't help too much.
Is it a network bottleneck or a processing bottleneck?

Yeah, Jita started dying at about 1600h ... There were about 410 ppl in jita that I saw and the lag was just huge. Went down hill after that. I've got a black screen (like the loading screen just after you click undock) and its' been that way for 15 minutes.
Silly me had the AutoPilot on and it just so happens to pass through Jita. Hey, CCP: Feature Request -> "Avoid HIGH TRAFFIC systems for Autopilot" ...
The only way to make Jita have less traffic is to have a better market. Maybe a "Free Delivery" system within 1 jump from Jita.

today's lags cost me a BS and a BC with fittings and drones...am I gonna petition it? don't think so, considering I have another petition sitting there for x weeks now...Don¦t get me wrong, I love this game, but today I am NOT amused.

sorry, but ms-cluster and mysql database can't handle so much user transactions and so a large amount of data

ROFL I'm glad I'm not a BT customer... 2-3 weeks omfg... How about 2-3 days installed or sameday (rental), talking HP servers then as well btw.

You realise that when it crashes and takes 700 people with it, the next thousand to get stuck are mostly just trying pass through, not intending to stop?
If you really must insist on funneling three or four Empire highways through a market hub, could you please insert a couple of jumps which can be used with a set waypoint to bypass the place?

Had 30sec lag right after DT earlier today with my alt, I asked myself "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot", grabbed the stuff I was after and warped away. I'm kinda glad now that I didn't stay there...
Anyway, I predicted this would happen a few months ago since from what we've been told about EVE's technical architecture the system just can't hold on to it for very much longer.

Ode to the joys of sunday lag
Currently having to back out of my Guirista extrav in Komo, 20 max pilots and it's taking 8+ seconds to activate a module probably due to Motsu being so lively next door.
Imho, being able to remotely chat to agents would be a great idea as then we won't have people jamming up the servers with dozens of peeps hanging around the same systems.
Either that or maybe let the agent give you a choice of a certain amount of locations. Pay will be higher at the quieter systems and pay will be stupidly reduced at hubs.
On the note of agents, we have factional warfare comming along soon so that will hopefully sort out this silliness.

Ingame messages say server is coming down in a few minutes for a quick reboot.
Any chance of getting a more detailed statement here on what's going on? Yeah, lag, we know. But is this new problems, still with the bookmark problems, or what?
Disappointing that the dragon code -- supposed to be more robust and efficient -- hasn't really seemed to help. It's snappier under low-load conditions, I'll give it that, but it seems not to be surviving weekends.

I think a rename of the last patch is in order. How about "Draggin' Patch."

Actually its not a bad idea. Also they did get some new newbie systems with the Dragon patch they can use for this. Allow newbies to be left alone to do their lvl 1 missions and tutorials instead of being chucked out into the lagfest known as Jita.
Its not good to have newbies being forced to complete a number of missions and the tutorial to be able to get better agents, when everything is lagging like crazy.
Jita should be the trade & travel hub, but shouldnt have mission runners since there really is no need for it.
