Graphics freezes, music sticks like a broken CD, takes no input whatsoever, not even the window-buttons. And it needs be closed using 'Force Quit'. Happens so often cannot really play at all. Otherwise the new features are real cool and cannot wait to rock again!

"Do you wish to debug it?" "Yes" "No" I've hit no and it quits the game, i've also hit yes and it brings me back into the game to a black screen with just the game cursor. I have a iMac 12.1, Intel Core i5, 4 cores, 2.5 Ghz with 4 GB memory DDR3, AMD Radeon HD 6750M> The game worked perfectly fine on Incarna, but now with Crucible it is not. Please help.

For those of you who cant find it just go to Library/Application Support/Eve Online/p_drive And the two files will be at the bottom.

Undocked and immediately froze in exactly the same way. Could not even tab out to be able to force quit so had to hold the power button down to force the machine to switch off. And that can be good for it. Completely unplayable. My 3 month subscription has just been taken so I can even unsub till this rubbish is sorted out. What a waist of money. Paying for a game I can no longer play. Please sort this issue ASAP Thanks

Hell Yes (5770, 4870, 3870, but this time the client was on a monitor fed by the 5770) What is your OSX version? 10.7.2, MacPro, 16GB ram I apologize for the difficulties this issue causes and I really do want to get this resolved. I had been rock solid until last night, crashed 3 times in 20 minutes. One time i was right clicking on a ship in my hangar...froze with right click menu open. One time I was opening asset window, the last time i can't remember exactly what did it, but I was docked, had been docked for a while and was just clicking and doing normal "Housekeeping" stuff. The files you wanted are there, but they are from Feb 17, 2011 when I was doing other testing, I doubt anything was written these times as it just went "POOF" froze. It didn't crash the computer, but I did have to force quit and restart the client. EvE voice was enabled and I had been using EvE Voice a lot lately, but it has been working awesome.

Client just hangs, requiring Force Quit. Had two properly isolated clients, freshly cleared caches, running on the same machine, on two screens. One toon auto piloting from Hedion to Reisen and the other going in the opposite direction. When each toon crossed over the Niarja/Kaaputenen (regional?) gate that client froze solid. Once restarted, the toon was in the right system and things continued without a hitch. Transiting the same systems on manual resulted in NO crash. Noticed a similar issue yesterday travelling from Ney to Reisen. Not sure where, but pretty sure it was another regional gate on the safest route and I was using the autopilot again. -- iMac // 3.1 GHz Core i5 // 8 GB // Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB // OS X 10.7.2

This seems like an arbitrary and pointless limitation. I realise the Corporate Bookmark feature exists but I need to share that information with a neutral alt. Dragging & dropping bookmarks into the Corporate category is impossible unless the Corporate Bookmark folder is visible to receive the drop event. When dragging & dropping items from one part of a hierarchical list to another, can I suggest that you "spring load" the top and bottom boundaries so that the list scrolls when the items are dragged over a boundary? Could someone post a link to somewhere that explains, in detail, the changes to bookmarks (in case I'm missing something). Thanks :)

For the people who can't find the crash dump normally in the root of the P_Drive, please can you try a simple step to see if there are any dumps created. 1) Open Terminal from Spotlight 2) type "cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/EVE\ Online/p_drive/ 3) next type "ls -R \| grep .dmp" If there are any dump files listed after step 3, take a look here too: ~/Library/Application\ Support/EVE\ Online/p_drive/Local\ Settings/Application\ Data/CCP/Eve Again if you find a crash dump after crashing on TQ, ever, make a bug report call it "For Konflikt : Mac Crash" and I will do my best to crush all mac bugs, especially crashes :)

Don't friggin ask how she knows, she is a bit.... well..... yeah......, but I guess that is another limit that wasn't there before.

It just goes "Poof" I know that doesn't help you, but it also doesn't help us :) I also know how to run the client with logging turn on, but i haven't run the game in that manner in a while (Feb 17 to be exact.) I will try and run it like that from now on to hopefully get something for you. BTW: Do you know how to run multiples from the cider trace log instructions? I typically run up to 10 clients and can never get anything more than 1 to open using cider trace log thing. Or is that not really an option anymore with the built in logging?

So far, every time I've crashed: 1: I have been docked, not doing anything (and not docking or undocking). Typically alt-tabbed or looking at market stuff. I THINK I may have been undocking and in space one of the times, but I don't remember for sure. 2: Ship spinning. 3: No. 4: meowx.com/EVE%20OnlineScreenSnapz002.jpg I have typically been in windowed mode. 5: I am yes. 6: 10.6.8. Thanks! edit: happened to me again, just now. Docked in Jita, alt-tabbed reading the forums and not doing anything in-game as described above. Something else odd; EVE doesn't always show up in the force-quit menu. Sometimes I have to cancel and apple-option-escape a second time for it to show up.

I think a desktop switch is what i do quite frequently (so im never really afk!) and a desktop switch was possibly part in every EVE Crucible 'Freeze' so far. An universal thing to all applications on Lion is that it doesnt activate instantly after receiving desktop focus. Eg. i have jitonomics open on a browser. Then i switch from EVE to Browser to find out ship prices and right way start typing "providence" the browser will capture only any typing starting from the third or fourth letter ("ovidence").

But once the crashes start, they seem to come faster and faster until I can't go more than a minute without crashing.

Before the crucible update it was working fine. Although 'sometimes' i had to try twice. Now with the crucible update the eve client is stuck and will not startup. Need to do a force quit. I've had it happen while docked only so far. Both before undocking and after redocking. I've had it happen in both. In CQ I was about to pick a ship to undock when it locked up. Just the normal station environment. Performance seems pretty bad, but I just switched to Mac, so I don't know what to expect from the Mac client yet. Settings are medium to low. I 'm using a 2011 Mac mini with AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics card. I'm running Lion 10.7.2

When I changed the settings to Medium the crashes have almost all stopped. However I should be able to continue to get pre-Crucible high graphics without repeated crashes. Are you all using ATi Macs? Don't know. I attached my System Profiler to my bug report [ID # 120276] as instructed. What is your OSX version?: 10.6.8 I haven't upgraded to Lyon or whatever it's called.

It can happen suddenly while warping or jumping at gates.

I got in a half hour of problem free gaming before a series of rapid freeze-ups and I quit trying. It is not unusual for me to return to the game after a several hour break to find it working well for a half an hour to 45 minutes. But when it starts crashing they come very quickly and won't stop until I am away from the game for a long period of time.

If open my Library and remove the entire EVE Online folder the game plays properly for a while. A while is around an hour. Of course, by removing the folder from the library I lose all of my overview settings and my game setting go back to default. After an hour something in the EVE Online folder becomes corrupted and I get a cascade of freezes. If I remove the folder again (a new one is created to replace the old one when you start the game) the game plays properly. I hope this helps. Can anyone else confirm that this is happening/works for them?

And when freezing starts, they keep coming fast. Didnt delete any folders but waited for a while (maybe 15-60 min) and the game runs nicely again for the longer while.
