Lance Fighter	Posted - 2006.09.23 11:35:00 - [35] Usally.... i dont name my ships. Unless i plan to use them in lowsec, or battle... If i do name them, i usally stick with names from X2: The Treat, the classes (you know... argon disco(light scout), argon buster(light fighter), argon nova(heavy fighter)...) But then again... not always. Ive got a little frig called 'LITTLE ANNOYING FRIG' that ive been using of late, along with DESSY OF DOOM... and some others i cant remeber. Then ive got my arbi us in empier somewhere, named Lance Fighter's Arbitrator, simply becouse i use it for missions... and reallly dont care if someone scans/ probes me in empire.

Ares called Bullet (used to fit 2 MWD; g*d was it fast!). Tristan called Hot Needle of Inquiry (cookie if you get the reference.) Thorax called Dauntless; Caracal called Monitor; Dominix called Ark Royal; Megathron called Vanguard; Raven called Ragnarok. My favourite two though; I have an alt (female toon - it matters!) with an Iteron V called Rampant Rabbit, and my looting sigil is called Millennium Pigeon. My Scorpion is named "Sulaco" from the second Alien movie. Those time I take out my Buzzard, I usually name it "Silent Hunter". The first was given to me in ASCN space and was a Merlin called: HMS Rectum Ripper II Unfortunately, as it was a gift, I did not want to change the name, and had to fly around in it, causing the locals to wonder if I was one who "bats for the other team"..... The second ship was an Ibis, which I named by myself, before joining a hunting party to brutally attack a woman called Jessica outside the Mercenary Coalition HQ. I thought about possible names for a while and eventually decided to name it: MercIbis The Brutal It is interesting to read of how others choose names for their valiant vessels. I used to try to come up with good names, but nowadays I just name after function.
