I don't see that free-thinking and marching to the beat of a 'different drum' are in contradiction, whether the drum be mine or yours. Jericho Fraction is opposed to the imposition of 'order' and unnecessary concentrations of arbitrary power in the service of bankrupt notions of state, empire and the elevation of the herd above the individual. We oppose them here and now the better to weaken them and achieve their final consignment to the pages of history in the future. Only a fool would conclude, through some bizarre reverse process of logic, that it therefore follows that we oppose their existence in the past. To say that certain ideas are unnecessary and indeed harmful now, in this present moment, is not to say they were never necessary or never good and useful. That I have had to explain this basic principle of historical progress to you speaks badly, I may say, of Caldari State education though I dare say such dangerous notions as a critical appreciation of history are not too high on the curriculum in the Motherland.
