I used this name as a character in several stories, and also in a game that was being developed that was similiar to Eve, but in 2002 (nowhere near close though in terms of graphics or as a standalone game)
I liked the name, so I figured it'd be good enough to use here.

I wanted a name that sounded Caldari, but I made it up completely. In the end, I think I failed at making it sound Caldari, and to be honest I hate the name now.
And once I had the surprise of getting a convo asking if I was Sicilian; turns out "Ortu" is a Sicilian last name (or so I was told -- I have no clue).

I was about 12 when my Mom was cussing at me in german, and said i was verruckt, which means crazy more or less, and since then ive used it in most games i play. ive yet to have anyone use it.

I've used this name for a while, in many computer games, forums, etc. Basically long story short, Freyja is the name of a Norse goddess, and I always found it to be a pretty name. I simply added the 'n' to make it more masculine-sounding.

Chalysa WulffsFressa ( means Chalysa Wulffs Daughter ) is part a name that I came up with that incorporates part of my DOD:S/BF42/DC/DCF/DCX/DCFX:JA name (LtCol.WULFF) and a name that I came up with!the part that I came up with is the Chalysa, and the fressa part is borrowed from David Webbers wargods own series!

Tried to honor a nice girl I know IRL for what she's done for me; so:
Sakura - partly to roll with the muted Japanese roots of the Caldari bloodlines, partly because its a nice name.
Nihil - because it sounded cool  .

Umit Davala was a Turkish footballer in the 90s/00s. He was briefly famous for having a mohawk haircut.
Im not Turkish, so im not quite sure why I picked this name. I think I must have been playing FM2006 before creating my account and thought it sounded 'spacey'

Came from a game of laser quest years ago with my scouts. Wanted to be Angel of Darkness, but that was too long, so changed it to Darkangel, then the TV show came out, so needed a new name... became Drakus

the name I used comes up in a few places. One being the bible as a demon who is the guardian of lost treasures. Its also a character name of a book series. Its been ages since I read it but if memory serves its called "Red Flag" or something like that.
Anyways I thought it had a good ring to it and it doesn't seem to be used by anyone else. Lets hope it stays that way.

Strikeclone is from the film "the fortress" with Christopher Lambert.
In the films the "Strikeclones" are the cyborg soldiers used to kill the escaping prisoners of a corporation run mega-prison.
I also loosley based the background of this character on the film "strikeclones".

Sosus Red is a naval term. During the cold war the United States Military set up sonar nets on the bottom off the ocean. Every time a submarine was tracked over that particular sonar net a message would be sent out. If it was a friendly, it was sosus blue, if it was unfriendly the message was called "Sosus Red". That is the way the usa tracked soviet subs.

Tsanse is my name...scrambled up and missing a bunch of letters. Kinske was supposed to be "Kinski" for Klaus Kinski the insane actor, but my first character was screwed up and...well, it's going to get even less interesting from here, so I'll shut up.
Mostly I just wanted to play the damn game and needed to think up a name real quick. I'm pretty much happy with it.

Sepherim is a name I carry from waaaayy back on the internet, the codename for one of my characters in a table RPG. It is an important part of the Quabbalah.

Kim Stanley-Robinson is the name of my favourite sci-fi writer, ive read his books more times than I can remember and it seemed an ideal choice for a character name.
