I wouldn't mind having it at the Chaterbox again, food was pretty good, and the drinks were alright. Was a little loud, but I think there was a speaker right above where we were sitting last time.

Ok, so I flaked out the last one I started organizing...
Would anyone be available for Saturday, 22nd of September? That's not quite three weeks away.
Did the event at Elsie's go ok? I still fancy that place somewhat.
There's plenty of places to go and I am open to calling the venues ahead of time. I'll get back into the MN-EVE channel, too.

I wasn't suggesting that we all sit down and watch UFC at the meeting, I was suggesting that some of us might already have plans involving friends, beer and a pay per view event on the 22nd.
I'm pretty distant from the metro area, so I'll take the locals' word for it on the choice of venue. Just tell me when and where to show up, and how to get there.

I vote 22 at chatterbox since they have a good comprimise of beer, easy to get to and to find people and under 21 are okay

I'm booked as well, got the flight out on the 30th, back on the 6th - imagine that is what most people out of MN airport are doing, due to the flight (in)frequency.
Staying at the youthhostel, though, to save isk. Total cost 537.25$ With lodgings! Food will likely suck though.

Ended up feeling like ass after drinking the stupid poison beer when I got home. Called it a night instead. (Feeling like going to throw up = not fun night out...)

I ventured into the heart of the night and made it to Ground Zero around 11:15pm or so...
After the obligatory period of standing around people watching (which in and of itself was fascinating from a social scientist's perspective), I got my tooshie on the dance floor and let the music take over...
Just got home (2:21am)
Thanks for everyone who came out last minute. I'm anxious for our next meet.
