Here's an update:
I have contacted Dreamworks and need to get back to them as I am going to discuss what sort of things they may have available for a get together of our sort. If anyone is interested in attending please contact me through EVEmail in game and we can get an idea of how many people to expect. I am going to shoot for late June for the event.

I'm from the Twin Cities, work and live in St. Lois Park & Minneapolis -- I'm a member of the Curse Alliance and Black Omega Security -- joined because old friends of mine who started playing EVE before me joined BOS -- I think it would be great to meet and talk about EVE -- even though it seems like most of the ppl who play in Minnesot are enemies -- that might make it fun to talk about. Hey folks,
I am still working on getting something together but I have encountered some issues in RL that I need to deal with that would make it hard for me to have the player gathering anytime before mid July. As it stands I will be looking into getting us a reservation a Gameworks in downtown Minneapolis. There are tons of arcade games, bowling, beer, etc. to be had by all so it should be a lot of fun. Feel free to evemail or convo me in game if you have any questions and I look forward to meeting some of you.

My spouse and I both play (her main character is BeeJay) - we live in Fergus Falls. A gathering sounds like fun but our attendance would depend on when we could travel to the Cities.

I hope gameworks has Medieval Madness pinball, that is the best pinball ever, I've probably spent more money on that game then I have EVE.

Theres a Champs in Maplewood that is supposed to have Wireless access, if thats an Idea... And I know theres a place in dinkytown as well that offers it.
If thats an Idea then let me know and Ill get the setup started for the first weekend in July. And if we can get a monthly or biweekly thing going that would rock as well...

I am thinking that getting together around 7:00 would be ideal. This gives us plenty of time to drink and play games. If this sounds good let me know so I have an idea of how many people to expect. Pass the word along to anyone that you might know in the area.

Hey folks,
Just a reminder that we are having a get together at Gameworks at Block E tomorrow night at 7:00. I've let some folks know so I will hopefully be bringing a few people with. I look forward to seeing you there. I'll be getting a table and will try to have some EVE related thing that identifies it.
