Perhaps someone decided we did not need a newer thread? In any case: Fail. Friday, the 16 of November, come hang out and have a few drinks at Brit's pub in downtown Minneapolis. Chosen largely for it's central and bus-friendly location, and because it has cider! *(So certain people can drink a few and bus home wobbly). 11th and Nicollet. Time 7:30pm, location upstairs if we can get it. So far I know for sure only of myself and Von Kleist. We will drink enough to make up for others, though if you don't show... (drunken Fan Fest Kickline photo - I'm on the far right -) Thaadd and Youwhat guys Medium build, try to have my Bloodraiders shirt (no promises though!) and shorter dyed red hair. Von Kleist is tall and well, Goonish. Lemme know if you're coming! I believe they serve enough food that being a young'n should not matter. Also - if you are not already aware, there is a neutral in game channel for MN players. MN-Eve! #1 Don't fly what you can't lose.

We were tossing around the idea of having another meetup shortly. We have some people with rather weird schedules (2nd Shift, 3rd shift)... what/when would be people be interested in hanging out? And if you're a youngin... let us know. I think by default we tend to think bars (because Von, myself, and others drink a fair amount!) You mentioned that your 'whole corp' is in MN, how many is that? #1 Don't fly what you can't lose.

After that, we'll be inside. For what it is worth, sounds like Aleric, Von and myself are in: which means 1 random person, one tall Goon, and one medium sized woman with short, red/brown hair. I guess they allow young'ns in earlier in Evening. If you show up late, you need to go up and do your best efforts to shout Goon-speak to get attention. Yah, I bet you can figure out a few of the words suggested. I'll have an Eve shirt on inside, but NOT going to freeze outside just to be a banner. -Thaadd #1 Don't fly what you can't lose.

I don't take it personal unless you shoot me before I have had coffee. Been giving Imperialmadman grief about that for the last month solid, now that he's in an intel channel with me. Nothing more amusing than having a Vaga orbiting you asking 'So, finished your coffee yet?' ' No - half a cup left, you can only take me to hull...' In any case. Next newest outing! Sunday the 16th, few of us are going out to Chatterbox in Mpls at 7pm. The Chatterbox Pub is located in South Minneapolis, right off Cedar Avenue on 35th street (can take 55 south and exit to the right). Actual address is: 2229 E 35th Street Minneapolis So far looks like myself and Von Kleist, possibly Aleric, possibly Agent Marvin. Couple others, but I forget off hand. We will hang out around the front first for a bit, then hang out inside. If you're worried about walking up to a random table of geeks, couple of pictures... Me in Eveshirt Von, Shadowfax and Sonos We really out to get a picture of all of us together for ease of linking... X up if you think you will show... we are also trying to get people's phone numbers mixed around. There was one ******** night where some people were sitting at half of a bar, and the other group on the other half. Yah. #1 Don't fly what you can't lose.

January 13th, Saturday 7:00pm Grumpy's Bar on Washington Ave. 2200 4th St Ne Minneapolis, MN 55418 (612) 789-7429 Parking out back, on several bus lines. Sorry about the 21+ kiddos, you did not show to the last couple ones were we attempted to make it all ages. Whine about it, and we might set up something else next time. Food is pretty good, there are pool tables, some electronic darts, and full bar. Juke box does not suck. Going to attempt to get tables near the front windows. Let me know if you are planning on coming, so I can figure out how many seats to try to collar. Would be nice to get a few of the new kids out and about! #1 Don't fly what you can't lose.
