You've totally missed the point of what I was writing. This isn't a BoB/ASCN thread. This is a thread discussing the need to Play Hard but Play Fair.
If you want to discuss BoB or ASCN then I suggest you take it to the appropriate thread.

I'd rather lose with honor than exploit to win.
If both sides choose to fight without exploits, then it could be a fun war (provided we actually manage to blow anything up aside from the server)

I like this pledge... even though I have no problem with others using exploits(to each his own gameplay), I have never done so myself - and will never do such things, cause it would rob me of great experiences, that the makers of games had intended. Nor do I ever even consider it.

Been killed by lame tactics and psuedo 'sploits that mysteriously get fixed in the next patch yet the GMs say it was a feature. But I've never used them, and never will.

i will pledge not to use Any uber GM admin tools to make me instant isk, create any type of ships, or do any insta logistics other then the ingame mechanics.
i will not use / abuse my uber powers in any kind of way

Nice pledge. How about adding to the pledge, you will prevent any of your alliance mates from using exploits and sketchy play. Turning the blind eye is just as bad as exploiting yourself.

I'd like to think most of IRON lives by that...
But wouldn't it be nice to tell the grandkid's tales of the incredible well-fought and honorable battle between two legendary giant's within the game? And the choas that beset the rest of the universe in it's wake?
Personally, I'd say one of the best ways to keep the battle honorable is for people to show some discipline and not smack local. Don't even post in it. Win or loose. Then at the end of the day u'll see what your opponent is made off...
Not even poking finger's - really maybe we ALL could execrcise someself restraint?

This coming from an alliance that logs off 95% of the time when trapped in a warp bubble.
Set's cyno's outside their stations so they exploit the dock/run tactic for the generators.
Not to mention does most of its pvp'ing withing docking range of a station.
