After reading many (too many) of the responses to Molle's post I feel it in everybody's best interest if we ALL make a pledge to play hard but play fair. I'll kick this bad boy off and sign it for myself. Let's see what others do.

I hereby pledge that I will not knowingly or wittingly use exploitative tactics during my game play in Eve; whether CCP or the Eve Community deems such tactics as exploitive.
I WILL, use the game as it is intended to be played using the game mechanics.
As a member of an Alliance, I WILL defend my region(s) to the fullest extent allowed me by CCP and as such will "Play Hard but Play Fair."

Exploiting tactics are weak and i'd never use them for that reason. Far play is important.
That being said i fear the servers will die at the very first engagement.
Having my last engagement with BOB in K-9 in mind i doubt the servers can handle anything atm. Lag was unbearable with only 75 people in local. No carriers or fighters involved.
Just about 25 ships total in combat and module lag was so bad guns wouldn't activate.
Now how will this be with 100 vs 100 i wonder? Or even 150 vs 150?
I don't know how many bobbits will show up but i sure as hell know that every last ASCN will stand up and defend it's home and that wont be 100 people and bob must be retarted to think we will limit the number of defenders for a even fight.
We are fighting for our home here so you can be sure the blob in EC- was a lil cometogether in comparison.
I don't blame bob for picking a bad time since noone knows when it will get better.
I forsee dying nodes without exploiting or bad intentions though and it makes me sad.

Soon we and BoB will have to announce our intentions 2 weeks in advance to get the dev's to assign a node so that we can all fight without accusing each other of exploits and intentionally crashing the nodes.

Never have used exploits. Never will.
Cheating at online games is even lamer than cheating in single player games. At least in a single player you can claim you only cheated a computer who doesn't care.

I am looking forward to it.
NOQ was beginning to get bored fighting against logoffskis, people which do not have the balls to fight against odd numbers, exploiters, NPC-alts etc. Now we have an enemy which at least understood how fighting in this game works and what it is all about. We know too and we are not here to use any of those cheap "tactics".
Finally the dogs of war have been unleashed, I hear their sound - and I like it.
If the server holds and the smack ingame and on forums stays low both everyone down here will be hopefully part of an epic war.

Exploits are for wasters who have no lives in RL and due to their exploits have no lives is EvE.

The war between BOB & ASCN was inevitable Mr Anderson.
With the history and tradition of keeping it clean in local, using good tactics and not exploits and trying to achieve something different in this game we call EvE. (Obviously there are a few black sheep on either side but no one is perfect)

Yeah i agree , lets have fun ladies and gents , just pure bashing nor boring pos crap or lag or anything hopefully the balanace be restored and player skills and tactics can have the upper hand again and not the lesser lag
