It's AWESOME!! But it's too short !! Need more time to show-off more of the goodies !! 
Love the soundtrack, a change from the "biblical" soundtracks of other trailers.

Exactly.
Just a list of features thrown at you with some visuals. Also a lot too fast so that its hard to pick up everything the first time you watch it.
I like the style of the old trailers more. |

I am a big fan of anything biblical, in eve, but do agree it is to short.

As far as Eve trailers go it is pretty horrible. Eve has done some absolutely beautiful trailers in the past. This one doesn't hold a candle to them. |

TBH it goes back to trailers like EVE never fades - and I would guess that's precisely the aim.
The very flashy trailers look shiney but I had been missing the "Actual gameplay footage" which used to be a hallmark of EVE Trailers.

I quite like the new trailer simply because it's just like the old trailers.
Dominion, Tyrannis, Incarna are all pretty and epic, but they don't exactly represent what you load up when you double click the eve.exe. To me it always seemed CCP were ashamed to show off their actual product.
Crucible however shows off EVE, the real EVE in all of it's glory... pew pewing internet spaceships to music.
Besides this trailer isn't to entice new players, it's to entice the people who left, to show them that EVE did a 180 and got back to it's roots. Same as this trailer, which is a lot more like the original trailers (Although definitely with different music and a lot speedier). |

Pretty much this.
Judging from a couple of the video blogs those cats were KILLING themselves getting Crucible out.
For all of that the expansion has been impressive at first blush.....
NOW that they aren't killing the art department reskinning, half of the ships, ALL of space, and all of the CQs (if you haven't looked they have to great things with the shaders)....
....maybe we'll get a proper trailernext time.

Watched all EvE trailers, many more then once (Dominion/Tyranis).
This one is by far the weakest, most pointless and unstructured of them all. Epic expansion, epic trailer fail.
Can't win them all I guess. |

Crusible trailer is a short ad, not even a trailer, for this expansion. Eve never fades shows off everything EVE has to offer and what EVE as a whole is about. If I wanted to show someone new to EVE what it is about I'd still choose EVE never fades. If I wanted to show a bittervet some of what the crusible expansion provided, I'd show him that ad. Funnily enough it doesn't even mention most of the best features the expansion brought to the game, since it's main purpose is to show that CCP is all about spaceships again. I can see why they did that, but as trailers go it's one of the weakest if not the weakest they've ever done. |
