mazzilliu Caldari Sniggerdly	Posted - 2006.10.06 08:27:00 - [1] i dont know about you readers, but i love my tech1 frigates. they are cheap and they are, AFAIK, killin' machines. tech1 frigates need new additions IMO. after teir 2 battlecruisers and teir3 battlehips come out, are there any plans for teir 4 frigates? or for that matter, teir 5. i'm thinking a kestrel only with 6 missile slots and the model looks like a miniature raven. please tuxford if you give us teir4 frigates ill give you ISK or something I'M IN YOUR SYSTEMS. I'M KILLING YOUR MANS!!!

Reduce each race to having these three represented in frigates, and then one mining frigate. EVE no longer needs tiny step stones, Miner IIs are readily available to nearly everyone for an affordable price making the step from the lowest frigate to the highest a small one - after that it's not too far to attain a destroyer, even for the casual player. Stuff in as many sensor boosters, tracking computers and damage mods as you can fit. Hit F1-F8, wait until you see a frigate class ship, click on it, boom. press F1-F8 agian, wait until you see a frigate, click on it boom. Destroyers are one-diminsional insta-gank I-WIN buttons vs frigs, but are death-traps vs anything else. To find alternate ways of accomplishing that, you'd have to get silly. You'd have to have stuff that looked like this when maxed out: Caldari: 500% increase in rocket velocity. Gallente: +50% light drone control range and tracking, 500% increase in light drone MWD speed. -1000% speed, damage, rof of medium and large drones. Large drone bay. Minmataar: MWD fitting bonus. Tracking and damage bonuses for autocannons. VERY large base sig radius. Amarr: Hell if I know.

mazzilliu Caldari Sniggerdly	Posted - 2006.10.10 10:30:00 - [29] tbh i think the teir4 frigates should be like... uber cargo frigates. faster then an industrial, maybe with 800 base cargo space on average. or otherwise frigates with bonuses to modules t1 frigs havent got already. of course not as good as the lachesis, rapier, bhaalgorn bonuses, but some smaller version. gallente t1 frig with web range bonus, caldari t1 frig with remote sensor damp and booster effectiveness bonuses, amarr t1 frig with nos bonuses, (and since there is already one for target painting)minmatar frig with scrambling bonuses especially the webrange and scram bonuses, theres currently no way for one to get bonuses like that without high skills, lots of ISK, or the appropriate gang bonuses. I'M IN YOUR SYSTEMS. I'M KILLING YOUR MANS!!!
