Well I have a story to tell, a grim one.
I tell this tale in order to fulfill my role as a good EVE player.
I was doing missions in stain to recover some isk after the 9uy war yesterday I was invited by Palestrina (TNT Alliance) to a 1 vs 1, I had to leave soon and couldn't and said so and left.
Today I invited him to a 1 vs 1, I went in a blaster megathron and he was in a nos dominix we met in 6y-0tw planet one.
I was ripping him a new one and just before he went to structure point a Falcon uncloaked and jammed me and 4 of his friends came and killed me.
I know that there is one thing in eve that is sacred to any player, the only currency out there except for isk, people that do not keep their word are the lowest form of life in eve and RL, I'm sure you know what I mean so I say to you all in eve that this action needs to be punished.
I know the TNT ppl are probably going to flame me to hell here, but i never see them try to fight anything outnumbered or anything like that only coward tactics and yes i have lost 2 capital ships to them but that was just gank 1 vs 20 or something and sometimes i get bored what can i say :) I wanna test my ships. If I¦d play eve responsibly I¦d be one rich *****.
Such an act deserves attention to it and punishment is in order for such betrayal.
Just wanted everyone to know so you are warned.

Well well..
I have talked to Palestrina and to tell the truth..7 year old`s makes me confused..
First to what this is about:
He told me that there was a 1vs1 agreed but you logged, when you came back in and wanted to fight there was no agreement of a 1vs1..
If this is true i still think this was the act of a little boy who just got high on his mama`s breast milk.
1vs1 is 1vs1..If you agree to a 1vs1 you give your word and it shall be kept.
I take distance from this action and think he should reimburse the ship but i got nothing to say as i now play as a regular member and dont give a crap really about others than myself.
Over to my second point..If you wanna fight Tnt and get good fights dont visit our carebears all the time..
People in npc ships dont give good fights and you should know that by now after loosing 2 Thanatos to them..
But there are people in Tnt (alcatraz) that do 1vs1 and honor it in a most honorable way which includes a GF in local even tho you loose..
I hate to see this kind of behaviour and will be using my next week to consider if i shall make my own 1 man corp..Then i dont have to fly with someone who dishonor my favourite thing in Eve..

i had recently a 1 vs 1 (asked by me) with a tempest , i lost it and my opponent was so kind to convoed me asking if i need some loot escrowed in a station

FLAME FLAME FLAME!!!!! Actually man, dishonoring 1v1 is lame. Please feel free to add the names of the others involved. I can assure you that any ALTZ member involved (if any) will be highly scrutinized if not kicked.

Ahh the memories..

And again i apologize for what has happened and wish i had power to do somethign with it..
I wont fly with him or back him up anymore for sure..So if you see me and him alone in local you will get your 1vs1 if he aint dead already..

I used to accept 1v1s, 95% were dishonoured, it is now my policy to not accept any 1v1s.

Please send me a mail with your demand for reimbursement..
And please withdraw the insurance payout from that fee..
Alcatraz members are going together to pay reimbursement to show we dont support this kind of behaviour..
Gudro brings the fight everyday and that deserves respect not disrespect..
I know reimbursement aint the same as winning the fight so i will kill him once i get the chance so you get isk and the kill you were going to get..

Im not really authorized but figure that I would suggest ne other hostiles reading this to put in a request for there isks lost also so as that everything can be kept fair.

Good show by your alliance, hopefully they boot you/your corp out for being a such a giant douchebag that you dont even realize why theyre refunding your fake 1v1 kill.
I know the last corp I was in had a standing rule that if you dishonored a 1v1 that you'd agreed to, you would be immedietly kicked, along with anyone who knowingly helped you do it. You were under no obligation to accept a 1v1, but once you did, our reputation was on the line that you'd follow through.

So you see nothing wrong in asking/accepting 1on1's, not being very good at PVP and start getting you ass handed to you by a better player, then getting friends to jam/kill him for you? If you see nothing wrong with that you need to learn to respect other people. Im sure if gudrodur had done that to you, you would of been the first person to complain. I know gud and he wouldn't of done that ever.

I hope he is promptly removed from the alliance/corp, there is no greater dishonour than what he has done. Whats even more sad is that he's replied to this thread and still no appology was made by him.

A victim of a spoiled 1 vs 1 being reimbursed is alot different than your sarcastic implication that all killed hostiles should be reimbursed.

hey
this matter will be dealt with in a proper way. as said earlier in here, a 1 v 1 is and always will be (i hope) one of the most enjoyable parts of eve. we should not have to wonder if the other one will honour it. it's an agreement to fight each other with rules you set prior to the engagement. hell i even had a 1 v 1 once with a hostile, with the rule that if he would win, my other 20 friends in sys would let him leave unharmed. but to cut this topic short, this matter will be dealt with, with the parties involved and not with the eve universe. 1 v 1 is and always will be something sacret not even ccp can change.
