I am curious to know who the actual women are in the Eve universe. I know of plenty of Female characters who are men, but have only ever chatted to one actual female player. If you are a woman please let yourself be known.

Well, I think the solution here is obvious - if you want to talk to women, play the Sims online.. if you want to talk to a man in a dress, play eve. ;)

Well done all for answering my question with a bag of s**t. Was it not a legitimate question to ask?
Maybe it is the fear of finding out a female avatar is a man after I have dropped a line of some sort, or maybe it is because I wouldn't mind chatting to a woman for a change. If this makes me sad, immature, lonely, desperate and looking for a slave then so be it. As you all seem to know me who am I to argue.

If you really want to talk to some one and of the opposite sex. You should go out more. I rarely trust the sex of some one until I speak with them on the phone or see them in person. And seeing some one in person from the net has never happened with me as it is something I dont plan on doing.

Ok, screw it who cares if they are men or women each to thier own. Seems questions of this type hit many nerves so it seems pointless to even ask and expect an answer.
For anyone who needs to know just so I can fit the stereotype I have been labeled, in RL I am a computer programmer who lives on my own with a cat and a hamster and buy meals for one every night. Infact I haven't spoken to a woman outside of work for 3 years and go red when they are within 3feet of me.

I'm a woman. I got into the game because of my husband (I decided it was more fun to join him than to watch him play ) and even I am curious as to how many of the female faces out there really are women. So far I've met one in-game who was (dunno if she is still in the game, t00r was her name and she was a one woman pirate corp when I met her). I don't usually ask, just in case someone takes offence, but I've got to the stage where I automatically assume each female face is a guy unless I find out otherwise.
And in answer to Lianhuan's question, I don't actively go looking for pvp as yet, and I don't intend becoming a pirate, but I haven't run away from pvp when it has come my way either (unless you call warping out in an indy and asking the guy to wait while I come back in something that can fight back running away )
Why is it that when someone tells you that there are over a billion stars in the universe, you believe them, but if they tell you there is wet paint somewhere, you have to touch it to make sure? |

I have no real intention of chatting up any of the real women on here. Yes I may act slightly different but not in any sexual way. I have a flirtatious nature and like what woman have to say, but not sad enough to digress into the dodgy cyber world.

Lady's and gentlemen, reguardless of what u see as the avatar of the character, u can generally tell if ur talking to a female or male by how they frame there answers (if they r adults :)).
This is in spontainious chat about everything.
All that is truely urs, is whats in ur head. |
