This is exactly what I'd like to see aswell, slot layout something like 7-7-6 or 8-7-5 with 5 turret hardpoints and 3 launcher hardpoints then the same bonuses as the celestis, 5% damage and 5% sensor damp effectiveness per level.
It'd add more variation to the gallente BS instead of having two ships that have basically the same role.
While I'm at it I might aswell mention the maelstrom aswell, It'd be far better as an armour tanking autocannon boat, slot layout something like 8-5-7 with 5% damage and either 5% speed or 7.5% rep amount per level.

Someone suggested 5% ROF & 5% tracking ... that sounds good, although I'd be tempted to up the tracking maybe to 7.5% or even 10%. Coupled with it's short targetting range (ie the use of rails being suboptimal) I think it's a great option.
AB bonuses would be too good. Agility bonus wouldn't be all that good.
As to slot layout, I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think more than 5 slots is keeping in flavour. 8/5/7 maybe?

I can see 5% RoF, and 7.5% tracking working quite nicely, but 6 Mid slots would be pure winnage. -------------------

Hyperion how I would like it:
7/6/7 , 7 gun slots only, 75 or 100 m3 drone space -good cargo bay 700m3 -more cap less recharge -can have lower targetting range but stronger sensor strenght (less prone for EW) -(cpu is focused on streghting sensor integrity and not range) -more agile, more speed (less shields) -more hull
1: 5% Large Hybrid Turret dmg 2: 5% Large Hybrid Turret dmg
or
1: 5% Large Hybrid Turret dmg 2: 10% Falloff range for Large Hybrid turrets
or
1: 5% ROF for Large Hybrid Turret 2: 5% Large Hybrid Turret dmg
or
1: 25% speed, 50% hitpoints, 20% effiency of webifier drones per lvl 2: 5% ROF for Large Hybrid Turrest
pls post your toughts .

Edited by: Dr Fighter on 14/10/2006 02:09:20 Give it the same as the thorax but large, plusa little somthing to all ships with the same bonus: 5% dmg to hybrid 5% less penalty to max capacitor for MicroWarpdrive usage and afterburner and microwarp drive speed per level.
