When opening a fit linked in chat, I would like have the option to view it as list (just like now) or directly open them in the ghostfitting... hope that is on the board somewhere.

This sounds like a good ideea. All i care is that we can activate tanking modulea to see the resists from insode station in the fit window, also overheat bonuses and clear drone dmg stats. Anything else is just a bonus

Make the main window as simple as possible. It should be more clear to even newer players.
Hovering or clicking or something could show more info about that area.
Also to track better what is missing, could you add small button on the corner that would open list of all the attributes related to the ship. Inertia could be here (unless it is actually useful to some). This way, if something (like drone control range) would be missing, it could be checked from here, until the UI is fixed.
Also visual bars for cargo and drones (+ drone bandwidth) are superb in PyFa. Could use similar as there is for CPU and PG. |

Request: A small-window mode for when the fitting window is opened in space.
I don't need to see a 3d model of my ship when I'm trying to refit off of a mobile depot or carrier -- I have no problem zooming in when I want to look at ship-pornography. What I want is a small, pinnable window just large enough to get the job done without blotting out a quarter or more of the display. Tabs with other information -- expandable or othewise -- are fine; just let us pare down the unnecessary bits. |

Align time is a useful barometer indeed. Inertia modifier should still stay.

And also charges. I don't like having to hover to see whether I've got antimatter or void loaded or if my cap stability is based on vanilla or navy cap boosters.

Please, please, please hurry up with Ghost fitting ! A feature which is long, long overdue :) One thing that irritates me about eft is the lack of descriptions of the modules.
Also, how about a few ship preset examples fits. Will help the noobs tremendously. |

As we can now sell multple different items, which is fantastic btw, how about a button that allows you to buy the multiple items in the fit. Both in ghost fitting and in ship fitting browser. |

Repeating my suggestion (post 82 of this thread) for "Accuracy" and "Elusiveness" derived statistics, with a logarithmic scale.
Accuracy would be calculated by
c1* log(Tracking/signature resolution) + c2
for some constants c1 and c2.
Elusiveness at 10km would be
c1*log((max angular at 10km)/sigrad) +c2
(max angular at 10km) = max speed divided by 10km/s
and c1 and c2 would be chosen so that capital ships have an elusiveness around 1, and frigates around 1000.
While the calculations are complex, it's a much more straightforward way to understand accuracy of turrets. I can do the math to work out 'can my Vexor's blasters hit this frigate or not?' but that's because I'm one of those 'special snowflakes' with a maths background. I'd be fine with losing that advantage for a better game overall.

Another helpful stat to add to the fitting window would be to list the specialty bay sizes without having to also open any additional windows. Like the Ore, mineral and ammo bays on the modified industrials
