As in on a daily basis, this doesnt really apply to carebears just the full time pvpers and pirates, i want to know.
personally the most success ive had so far is with a vexor

i've got the highest kill death ratio in a taranis i think 3:50 i think, ishkur has a 0:8 ish i belive but i don't fly it that much

Dominix. It's ability to disable multiple ships using a mix of ewar in mids and nos while still having a very solid tank and doing good dmg with t2 heavies is awesome. Best solo ship i have used so far.

My most successful pvp ship would have to of been my phantasm, soo much fun to fly and it just adds to the 'yarr' effect. 
Heavies Launchers, NOS, and Heavy Pulse II's, pleanty of resis & armor, not to mention the drones , after realising i could buy a sac cheaper, i decided to sell the ship and get 2 hacs

for me wuld have to be the mega.
at 5km and at 210km it gets the job done as good and as fast as anyother ship in eve

For one single ship, that would have had to be my scorpion... when it got blown up, I had destroyed 8 or so battleships, all solo, dozens of cruisers, a couple of recons, all done solo - I had a couple of close calls, but 5 multispecs got you out of most fights, simply by jamming whoever was scrambling you. Beats WCS any day.

I'd say it's a toss-up between a Thorax and a Claw. The 'rax is so flexible, and works really well no matter how you set it up, while the Claw is just the Claw and nothing else needs be said.

domi is currently very effective solo or very small gangs,
a blasterthron was FTW back in the old day before the boost, then no one used it and no one expected it, now every nub and his dog is in one :/

I'm only a part-time pvper, but I use almost exclusively an Armageddon. not the best BS out there, but overall it served me well...

Mostly use Tempest for pvp, Sleipnir is good too.
why just the full-time pvpers and pirates, not fair  .
I only do missions to get isk for ships and gear, but i'm a slow git(ok ok lazy) with missions so it takes long before I get isk to fuel pvp  .

I love my eagle/vulture - 200km range - Great for isk earning (sniping shuttles, pods, haulers, fris, and cruisers at gate - they tend to have the most expensive stuff in their hold ). Eagle great for belt pirating, with blasters. Vulture will be just as good with the 20% agility boost in kali. Yarr
