Correct, and wars do us a good turn in a lot of ways.
Firstly, they give us a chance to get some PvP practice in without the politics of 0.0. We're constantly being war-declared on so all we have to do is go hunting around jita if we're in the mood for some practice. I'm sure all the corps that declare war on us are in it for similar reasons.
Secondly, wars weed out corps and pilots that haven't got what it takes to be in the ISS - corps that haul AFK in empire during a war and don't read the charter, alliance mail or the ISS forums. Anyone who gets killed in a war in the ISS that isn't out looking for some pvp training is doing something wrong and it's their own fault.

Sorry to ***** your ego but that kind of turnover is normal in ISS.
Member corps are not really that important to the alliance, the majority of member corps, until recently, were entirely surplus to the core activity of developing underutilised 0.0 space for new generations of pilots (inside or outside ISS).
Wardecs on ISS are a good thing, mostly. Weak corps leave, strong corps become stronger, and everyone has a bit of Jita/Torrinos-camping fun.

props to you guys for actually stemming the huge problem that was just sheer numbers and the inability to control them ---------------------------------------

Edited by: Tequilapepper on 04/11/2006 14:09:48 Excellent move ISS, less voices that speak make an alliance more effective... 39 corp of about 10 average makes me think some had just 2-3 members, so definitely worth the booting, once you found out that they were not collaborating (lol answer a post on forums is not much an effort). Also because i did not know you had that many, in space I see always the same corporation tickers. For those that can appoint it could be a rude resolution, remember that they allow neutrals to dock in their stations, so everyone will be able to retrieve their assets with ease.

In my time in EVE Ive dealt with Count T. numerous times, and hes always been on the level, respectful and at least to me someone I can take at his word. The problem was when the other members of his Alliance wouldnt follow through with what the Leadership had going. Boy did it cause problems lol.
I think this goes a long way in showing that there is a semblance of leadership within ISS. I am anxious to see whats next.
Good job ISS.
