Hon Kovell Gallente Neh'bu Kau Beh'Hude Ushra'Khan	Posted - 2006.11.03 11:43:00 - [1] Shortly before downtime I was checking Escrow and saw this: 'Navy Vexor - Cheap!'. When I opened it I found that it didn't contain 1 unit of Tritanium, as you would expect, but a Navy Vexor. As you can imagine, I was stunned by this for a few minutes. It gets worse, though. The price was actually cheap. What is EVE coming to when this sort of thing happens? This isn't even the first time! I saw something similar a few months ago. Not to be too depressed by the things people do, I've decided to write that off as being the work of a clueless noob who didn't know better. So, to the point, the beginnings of a guide to the correct use of Escrow. The Basic Rules of Escrow 'Cheap something or other' is either 1 unit of Tritanium or a bookmark No one will find your escrow unless you use a lot of - and = symbols '----=-=-=---- trit ----=-=-=----' or, as it appears in the escrow window to most, '----=-=-=---' Just in case that doesn't work, add spaces between all the letters. Your escrow now appears like this: '----=-=-=---' Don't ever label your escrow in a way that lets people find it easily. Do you really want people looking for your True Sansha RCU to just look for True Sansha and then find RCU? No. You will only sell if you label it differently so that it can only be found by inspecting every escrow. 'My faction loot', 'My stuff', or 'Cool loot' all work well. If you really must, then at least call it 'TS RCU' Can anyone suggest some more rules to help flesh out this guide?

There is massive detail on what is coming in Kali 1 available to those of us paying attention, not to mention that people lucky enough to get on the test server actually got to use it. Sorry smart boy I just looked through the Archive...Sept there will be an improvement...Aug talked about contracts, and so did july. Aug link you gave funny thing...Aug was three months ago. Nothing you linked refered to THE REMOVAL OF THE ESCROW SYSTEM, and that is what I wanted to know...Sept archive said IMPROVMENT to the escrow...not removal. You can still sell stuff. However it supports: Exchanges: Bring me a Navy mega, and I'll swap for a Navy Raven and a million isks. Courier: My POS fuel is in Jita, bring it to me in 0.0 for loadsamoney. The best bit here is you can do it from CORP HANGARS. Auctions: What it says on the tin. However will also work for remote regions. Loans: Borrow my BS, leave me 100mil. If it comes back in 2 weeks, you get your money back. However don't just take my word for it. Go test it. THere's a game development forum and a test server. There tends to be a queue to log in though, so you'll have to be patient. For added joy you can check out rigs, Tier 2 BCs, Tier 3 battleships, salvage and a few other things.

The Dev team is well known for popping into a thread saying one or two lines, of vague information, then leaving everyone in the air. That is what my original post was about...And by the way...What were you doing in sept? Remember what you read or did'nt read? How many times you loged on to read a blog? If you really must, then at least call it 'TS RCU' Can anyone suggest some more rules to help flesh out this guide? * If you want to sell a BPC, make 50 and flood escrow with them all at once, thus pushing other escrows off the list. * Also be sure to list said BPC as it's T2 variant and add at least 3 0's to the price.
