Due to an overwhelming community response, the Fanfest has officially sold out. Over 650 players, media, volunteers and staff will be partying together at the top of the world at the Nordica.
Online ticket sales have been disabled and no tickets will be sold at the door. If you missed your opportunity to go this year, please plan ahead for a bigger and better Fanfest in 2007.

Sigh. TBAH, Its a long long time since I was really drunk. Like 8-10 years. One of the problems with getting older I guess. These days I prefer to enjoy a drink or two, and preferably wine, but ofcource Whiskey and Beer is still consumable. How about considering doing something for your 50%+ of players who live in the US? Very few of us are going to be able to go to Iceland. Have you considered a get-together in the US? (Hint: you could choose a warm area such as Florida and bring shorts).

Kieron has already hinted that someone might be planning somethign in that area next year. But hey a 'Fest is only an EVE'Fest when it's in a cold climate the devs would get over heated in a hot climate

As much as we would like to, we do not have the resources at this time to pull off an event like the Fanfest in the US. However, we are glad to offer what support we can to any players setting up an event, be it Devs flying out for the event, swag, etc.
Personally, I'm really looking forward to the event some players are putting together around Orlando, Florida. It is in the early planning stages, but if this event does occur, I think it safe to say there will be Devs attending and with swag in hand.

anyone flying from heathrow note that icelandair moved to terminal 1 at the end of october as per their announcement which they were kind enough to not inform people with prior bookings telling them to go to terminal 2 (not me, i dont fly out till tomorrow but havent recieved any email telling me of the terminal change)

We are coming, me and my GF (keep your hands off!!!). Atm we end up waiting 6 hours in arlanda airport. So I got time to chit chat here.. and fill & spam forums and get banned so I cannnot join PvP contests in fansite. Fill replys fast so I can answer and spam. Anyway waiting to get there, tho I'm not top 10 most drunk persons there

had a few problems, flight to gatwick was delayed, said at one time it would not leave till 9.10am which would mean a very tight connection to heathrow, got here with plenty of time though :)

Kinda strange... or perhaps a coincidence you sell out fan fest the day before you screw out your members fair shake at several t2 bpos. Don't expact many "fans" to show up.
Maybe if you read this here, you'll acknowdlege your membership about this issue.
