Yes, I lost that vindicator.
No, the loss doesnt **** me off. It's the way I lost it.
Astarte hunting npcers around lowsec. I decide to pay him a visit. Warp to a belt, find him there, and voila. I lock, engage, and take him to half armor. At this time, local jumps.
Curse and scorpion warp in. Goodbye cap, goodbye ability to lock anything. I look for a decent fight, and I get a 'Yey letsjustgoandbecoolandjamhim' encounter. Being jammed 100% after the scorp warped in, I lasted a little longer than 1 minute due to the curses nos. If having 1 ship totally remove your ability to do anything lock wise, and another remove your ability to repair damage TOTALLY isnt overpowered, then I guess eve sucks.
The point of this post. Delete ECM. It is a worthless peice of **** which does nothing to eve either way. All it does is create whines (such as this) and alot of un-fun and monotonous fights. ATM, capacitor power and, obviously, the ability to lock faster than the other person is i-win in eve.
Do not say 'Omfg ur skilz sux lol' or 'lol get sum skilz' or anything along those lines. That would not have helped here. The fact that 3 ships can take down a 5 billion ISK ship is not the problem. It is the fact that just ONE can completely disable its ability to put up any form of fight.

it was a curse and apoc that warped in.. and apoc hade no ecm, so I did both nos and ecm in the curse:) And yes the curse rocks

Something had ecm other than the curse. That or it had a tracking disruptor.

Wah. Cry about the features of Eve a bit more hmm? How many of these must there be: DELETE ECM! CCP put it in the game for a reason: the exact one that got you popped. It does it's job, and it does it well. I work on ECM irl, and if it didn't there'd be a lot more issues with modern warfare. It's a part of life. Deal. And look at your deathmail before you post on the forums...Last I checked, the Apoc is yellow and has no stinger...

yes just to press some buttons the curse jammed you the whole time :) the apoc didint have any jammers (and there was no scorpion there)

So you were jammed or TD'd? If you are TD'd you can still lock, and it's fairly easy to tell if you can lock or not...

I was jammed and TD'd. The jam, looking at fraps, failed right at the end of the fight (Like 10% struc left)

I do feel your pain... I am both looking forward to the ECM change and fearing it a little because I'll have to find a slightly different setup for my ishtar.

Tracking disruptors / sensor damps. At least the other person gets a chance to fight back with them fitted.
Heh, the 50% ECM nerf does **** all tho. I've still been jammed for minute long periods by a single multispec II on SiSi

I love Curses its one of the only Amarr ships that you can't say needs a boost. In some ways it would be better if they removed jamming or made it not such an I-WIN button but in some other ways I like winning.

I understand what you mean. You are angry that the scorpion..and thereby ecm, killed you. And to make matters worse for you..there was a ship that drained your cap..which gave you no chance.

 I used ECM on that navy raven. Because it had seige II, which hurt. My fit doesnt consist of ECM 99.99% of the time.

Dude what the hell are you talking about? You roam around in high sec ganking noobs with a borderline tactic that is frowned upon. You just recently ganked a faction fitted ship with that tactic and did it USING ECM. Now you complain when you get ganked?
Oh and maybe now you should change your sig.

I dont know everything you've shot to pieces. I do know some of the popular stories here include "was jammed most of the time" and if that siegeII hurt, did you go fit an ecm and your opponent was friendly enough to wait for you to do this, or was it already on there? :)
Dont be so annoyed on ecm now, remember thoose 5b in faction stuff might be good, but they may or may not be worth the price payed compared to t2/named. Love the player economy/supply&demand/inflation. Now go grind some iskies so you can fit your ship with 10b of stuffings the next time and still lose to 3 t2 bs pilots who know what they are doing when getting into a fight
