Solution to this is to introduce more variety in warp speed - interceptors should be faster than anything else, frigates faster than cruisers, cruisers than BS and so on - and to have warp speed affected by modules like overdrives (faster) or WCS (slower). Or indeed by skills.
You want to fly "faster" than someone else to catch them then you pick a faster ship and/or fit for speed.

Dude, you can't put up bubbles in low sec, and you want us pirates to attack them in Jita or something when we are outlaws?.
And when we are in a low sec system with a **** load of high sec systems around, then there is not much other places we can go after them.

Read my EDIT. I suggest destroy the whole insatnt bm idea. Warp to 0 will be only option to insatnt warp.
You destroy the instajump BMs AND prohibit warping to 0 then lag will radically go down as people will leave the game in droves. DOnt know why? I tell you what .. fly egbinger to E02-IK to Khabi any prime time play time without instas. You will have about a 95% chance of dieing. This has been discussed ad-nauseum in the forums. Your arguments are not new or creative but a dead horse that has been beaten severly enough to turn it into a puddle of biological goo.
The empire bound people are always asking "why not just remove instas" and anyone that flys in 0.0 routinely rolls their eyes at the ignorance of it all. In empire instas are a conveninece, in lowsec they are helpful, in 0.0 they are absolutely necessary for survival. Poeple arent going to oput up with a warp bubble on every 0.0 gate without any work on the part of people there.
If you want to stop people, get out an interdictor or a mobile warp disruptor. Achoring 3 and propulsion jamming 2 are pathetically easy to get.
CCP has hated instas for years. If they thought they could just remove them without blasting their revenue and subscriptions to hell, they would have done so long ago.
I'm with this guy. Says it all. Small time pirates are being denied a easier chance to get a lock on people running for the gate? Hah! As if you guys could have gotten me before this change. Want to have a pirateering enterprise? Then **** well work for it dude. Buy probes, interdictors, or choose another line of work. I'd bet you'd rather have instas going in the can and nothing coming back for it.. Right.

What about people that make their home in unclaimable space? Should we be at a disadvantage cause we aren't big enought to control a whole regoin? I don't think so.
No

Grow up and deal with the changes, I keep loving the EvE team for the work they do.
Then remove instant warps entirely and adapt.
To the above teh answer is simply YES. But of course you wont agree you want easy mode.
Imo instant bms should have been removed when they started to exist, now people got used to the easy mode and dont like teh game to become harder. Its so sad...

In my opinion the game has changed and it is YOU it is getting harder for, and YOU don't wanna adapt. Grow up, stop whining and buy warp disruptor probes or an interdictor.

Thanks for the advice but i already haev interdictor and probes.
On the other hand i can say to you that the game can still change and YOU are the one that dont want to adapt to new risks cause the situation with bms suits you well and you dont want it to change. Im playing the game for a long time now so i HAVE adapted despite what you say. What im saying here is to change something that is going to make game worse (my opinion). The idea about entirely removing bms was just an idea to the people that say to new system helps server. But i dont see anyone comment on my original topic, unless of course saying only that it wont help server.
And i really dont understand why some people continiously try to lower another person and his opinions by saying 'grow up' etc thus implying he is immature. Maybe its your way to prove your point. Well sorry but my way is with discussion.

YES, i like those new warp ins to 0 km
Autopilot stays the same as it was before, so many pilots will approach gates at old STYLE
Ingame expl:
EVE space ships have warp drives, why shouldnt they be able to warp to 0 meters of something?
Out of game expl:
The warp to 0 km will result in deletion of many many BM. High sec empire is safer again. Transportation of large size m3 is changing allready. In 0.0 its not a change anyway and alt chars copyning thousends of BM daily can do other stuff instead.

Having everybody warp at 15km regardless makes the game harder, yes, and as you say how it is meant to be played. I can understand the warping dynamics of how that would make sense, but i don't agree that warping to 0 would make people leave, infact i think getting rid of all bms and making ppl warp at 15km would make people leave.
As a result of warping at 0, you will effectively have more haulers and miners to pirate because there's a high chance that they think they can get away with their 0.0 expeditions. This would make a pirates job much more eventful, but also for miners and such, they wouldn't need to have a whole fleet to mine 0.0 with little return. With this in mind they could probably go off on their own quite frequently and have an eventful trip whilst doing so. Bearing in mind the risks, they should well know that they'll probably get killed, but will bring a lot of them out since warping at 0 gives them a lot more edge. And eventually it helps the economy doesn't it?
Also when some people move their stuff without bms, like i do at times, and i have to shift battleships without a freighter, i usually need someone who has bms, or if i'm alone, i need the bms myself. Shifting things in general is usually organised on an alliance scale for safety. If worst comes to the worst, i have to outfit my ship for travelling, ie wcs, nano, mwd etc etc. And i don't need to tell you that during this phase there is no way i can actually fight. That's the risk i take you say, and you're absolutely right in saying that. The thing about warping at 0, is that it will save time in actually outfitting my ship for such things, which would increase productivity for something else, say pvping right off the bat, without having to refit.
If we had it your way, getting parts..... well getting anything or anywhere for that matter would take absolutely ages and would bore the crap out of me personally. I like to watch ships approach the gate too, but when you're jumping 20 odd gates, it can get a little old, especailly in a BS. You probably fly interdictors and interceptors most of the time, hence you have no real issue with it since they are the fastest ship class in the game, being also equipped with an mwd as a mandatory module. For anything other than those 2 classes, you would have to fit and refit to save precious time.
You are right in saying warp at 0 would make it easy for people to invade, but isn't that a testiment to the way eve PVP side should be played? Maybe your statement brings out a little bit of fear in you of the thought of losing your soverienghnty easily, which is totally understandable. A lot of people live for pvp, and this is the way i see for pvp to be more abundant than ever, and not just in 1 spot on a corridor but all over the place, since travelling would be faster, meaning you would need better defense tactics, so hats off to your successful fleet comannders if they manage to pull it off. But this is the beauty of it isn't it? Also after ur ship has been destroyed it makes it easy to put one back together ready for your next battle.
With warping to 0 not only makes taking and retaking space more dynamic and fluid, but also means that uber alliances might not be able to hold their spaces quite so securely for so long, unless very organised. Hard for big alliances, easier for small alliances. Surely this is what the pvpers of eve have been waiting for? I know a lot of them will be jumping for joy at the thought of possibly taking an invading armada to one of the major alliances' space. Time on warping fleets would be greatly cut down, and rejoining/joining up with a fleet is made more convenient, as fleet ops can take absolutely hours, not just on travelling but waiting for other members in general too in safe areas, aswell as other contributing factors.
Blabbering too much is probably an understatement here, i do apologise. And for the sake of the readers, plz don't quote all of this. |

Keep the warp to 0km. If your whole approach to pvp is to wait for a person who isn't smart enough to have instas to get by you, you deserve to be nerfed.
Having ships warp in at 15km benefits some people. Having less lag benefits EVERYONE.

i wished they actually released this info a few months ago. would of saved me a lot of isk
in a few ways this is a good thing.
high sec suiciders will only get good loot if people are lazy and afk while hauling some expensive mods / bpo's bpc's
as said before trade runs will be a lot faster for those new to it.
near enough all missions in another system from your agent station will be faster to get to instead of the 15km approach for those who dont have bms
it will make travel faster for those of us who are use to using insta's but i feel it should of had more issues with low sec / 0.0 travel then using the autopilot. obviously the use of bubbles near gates in 0.0 pull people away from the gate if placed right, so im hoping that ccp will allow some sort of compramise for the pirates of the game who sit around low sec all day getting the odd few ganks here and there. maybe just maybe allowing just the small bubble to be deployed in low sec, i doubt it will happen but it could be a nice compramise.

I know that warp to 0 option helps, and probably will only benefit game cause everyone has bms already but putting it in game so all can have it will make game easier. At least before you had to own bms to instant warp. Im against the whole instant jump, and before some people say that suits me, im betetr with instants so my interdictor is more valuable. Maybe im the only one that has this opinion, i just dont want the game to be easy mode, adn i dont want the devs to do everything players ask. Most people want easy games and most devs make their wishes true so they dont disappoint them. Ive seen it happen in some other mmorpgs ive played and it made game too easy to a point where you get no satsfaction from what you are doing cause its so easy even a nooby can do it. Anyway if eve community wants warp to 0 so bad let it be. I hope it will benefit game.

Ok, I've decided I can finally see where CCP is going with this. They intend (most through the use of the new exploration system) to provide more places in deadspace to catch people at in place of catching them at gates. I think this system can be good, but there still isn't nearly enough content to make up for it. Which is why I am stil against warp to 0.

Oh wait .. you dont want to do that. You want to be able to snipe while aligned 200km out using an alt to pick up the gear. That is cowardice. Now you will have to actually risk retribution for what you do. Tragic

I can definitivly see the benefits of warping to 0 km. Benefits are less lagg due to BM and BM copy. Drawbacks are everyone will be on instants no matter what! If they go through with it atleast open for interdictors in low sec so we can counter this effect!
