GOON infiltrated my corp, and defeated my screening process. GOON Pilot Name: Lenutza They planned originally to have the infiltrator defuel and offline all the posses in KZFV-4. Since roles are under strict management in DORM, he failed in his mission. So apparently it was decided by his leadership that he should cause as much damage as possible in other ways. He was a cap ship pilot, and gave out the password to a pos during an engagement (JLO): Result - 1x stolen Chimera He also stole the cyno generator ships from the system: Result - I had to smuggle a covert in with generators He then proceeded to steal ships and pos equipment as they were being moved out of system: Result - over 1 billion in assets stolen Immediately after declaring his theft, he convoed several -V- ceos posing as directors alts. He asked for isk to buy 10x Minmatar Towers "for sale cheap in Derelik" - 2 billion total: Result - I gave him nothing (I know all my directors very well) He then posed as directors as other corps and tried to scam them as well: Result - The alliance was warned by me of the scam and he failed to get any isk What did GOON accomplish to hurt the alliance? Nothing. Why? I am personally buying and replacing ALL stolen assets to their owners. I am responsible for allowing Lenutza into my corporation and I will pay the price for his betrayal. His theft is basically forcing me to sell a few ships I can't fly yet to generate the isk I need to purchase the replacements. Spies - I understand the use of these and even use them myself. Thieves - despicable - my corp would never engage in such underhanded tactics. Scams - unbelievable - As far as I know, it is a bannable offense. All convos have been collected and are being reported to CCP. GOON has taught me that they use underhanded and borderline tactics frowned upon by most of Eve. They have lost any respect I once had for them. Their actions have hardened my resolve to see them leave the regions I call my home. That sounds like he accomplished at least something.

Other options include the suspension or permanent banning of his account. While the above scam does omit impersonation I have a sneaking suspicion it's quite likely to be an offence.

Personally, I'd say that 'using' includes 'claiming you are an alt of', and as such it could be classified as a EULA violation. This is, however, a very common scam type, convoing up people and claiming you are an alt of their CEO, and I've never heard about anyone getting punished for it... -----

It's not an offence. If I made a character called 000 to pretend I was character OOO, then that is an offence. Convoing people and claiming to be someone's alt, however, is not an offence.

How interesting. Spys add spice to territorial wars and a lot of great threads are derived from this style, theives however turn things needlessly sour, not helpfull. The OP is right to be angry, these tactics while being allowed is completely against the spirit of fun play. on the other hand... im finding this war alot more interesting than BOBvASCN

Regards, So basicly when LV and -V- offlined with the help of a spy RA towers in p7-45v and you bragged about it on forums for ages it was ok and when spy within RUA corp showed you were the savespot with 7 bil worth of poses and fuel was, it's was ok too and you bragged on forumes about it for ages too. And now when same thing happened to you you are SNIP if you disagree with whats being said please phrase it in a constructive manner. Thanks Hutch

If every member getting into the Southern Coalition would have been screened more thoroughly before getting access to valuable assets this wouldn't have happened. If you're desperate to let anyone who wants to join your corporation or alliance in I stop wondering why players leave when things get rough. No sense of unity and common goals outside of getting rich.

Catching people with this intent is hit-and-miss, I know that for a fact myself.
