man i enjoyed that flame the editor bit.
below is my reply to that peice of dross.
to be honest with you, there are reasons behind the post about lag etc in eve-online,every long term player of eve enjoys the game the only reason it is currently in a state of flux is due to the fact that the hardware is having problems coping with people making the node's crash on purpose which damages the server making it less playable, all those people whining should learn to be patient we dont pay for expansions unlike other games there are no major "you have to be on to learn your skills" there is no grinding you can choose what you want to be ,how about instead of brining the negative out on eve online you bring some of the positive things out try to be unbiased in your representation of eve online such as journalism should be.
FLame me hate me i love this game if it was a unbiased piece of literacy then i wouldnt have felt the need to slam them, but it wasn't it was a piece of junk.
Enjoy.

You guys are too funny. Look at the sentence you are quoting. The article said that the players are disgruntled. How are you going to argue against that? Look at any of the subforums and there is almost no positive threads. Hell, I can count the positive posts on one hand. Almost any individual would come here and come up with that assumption. I tried to recruit a few of my office mates to play the game...they took one look at the forums and are now not even willing to download a free trial.
I cannot argue that Eve has been pretty sluggish but don't put down the author or the article. After all it is only citing what we write.

The Inquirer has an in your face style about everything, not just Eve. I read it regularly, ignore the snarky attitude and pay attention to the root of the story. I use it as a launching point...I read about something there first and then I go looking for a more reliable source for the real scoop.
Which, if it were a decent piece of writing to begin with you wouldn't have to do.
Well, I have to admit, one of the main reasons I read it is because of the snarky attitude. Tech news can be very dry. I find the Inquirer entertaining. They're good for hearing about the latest rumors. The trade off is you can't accept anything they say at face value, but I have that attitude about the more legitimate media as well.
