Im sorry but you are rude, abrubt and need to learn some manners, you do not talk to customers like you are talking to them, regardless of your personal feelings
I'd say they have every right to talk to you that way when you demand a service they're not obligated to provide. Try going down to your ISP and demanding that they take out your garbage for an hour straight. See how they treat you.

Oh, I'm sorry. How about going down to the DMV and demanding they give you news regarding social security?

Edited by: Wizie on 12/11/2006 20:38:31 I'll help you some.
The service "demanded" is not internet connection and garbage collection. Unless somehow a change or new method of garbage collection directly affects your current internet connection.
Considering the crap thats on the Test server will be deployed to Tranquility (a service I DO pay for) at some future point and taking into account that we are requested to help test the changes I think we do deserve better communication and a semblance of respect from the people we are paying.
I'm not miffed about the Test server being down or it being dead... I am however annoyed at the way CCP reps are talking to paying customers.
Quote: Just remember, your access to singularity is a GIFT, not a right.
A gift? That was the most retarded comment from a CCP rep ever IMO. ----------------- Sig removed by some noob |

lol he attempts to improve his analogy by using one of the worlds most powerful monopolies with the worst customer service...whats next united states teachers unions and microsoft?
most people here arent disturbed with the fact that they needed the server to use for their richer customers with a free weekend...but rather the condescending manner we were referred to as customers. see eve is a game that has competition...you want an analogy?
how about this...
you go to stop and shop for their can can sale.
you find no cans! wtf?!?! so you ask a clerk..where are all z cans?
the clerk responds: the customers that shop at stop and shop over in timbuck two can afford to pay more than you so sry we moved them there.
you respond: lame, alright then, i thought i went to the wrong store LOLZ!
clerk responds: LAME?! can can sales are a GIFT not a RIGHT!!!
you respond: wow that wasnt very nice...
then the clerk's fanclub chimes in: it doesnt matter if it was nice...is the dmv nice...are isp providers nice? they have the right to tell you its a gift in that manner!
and when that happens enough times you say: ok thats enough im going shopping at shaws :D maybe there they give more rights than gifts..maybe not but you never know until u try.
an appropriate customer service response would have been.
"yeah sry arakk we rly need the server for the fanfest, we're sorry for the inconvenience" take note of that :)try to refrain from telling people the difference between their rights and gifts from ccp. :P
confirm/deny eve-verse?
