What's up space sharks, I'm about to begin a solo journey in C3's in my Sleip but no matter how I try to fit it, I can't seem to get it cap stable with a pith x-type large shield booster (besides using Gist which is too blingy for me). Does anyone have any suggestions or can a cap boosted fit using Pith X-type XL shield booster sufficient? Or is dual XL ASB's the way to go? Any help is appreciated. |

use 2x large ancillary shield boosters or one x-large and shield boost amplifier. would suggest using strong blue pill to give you 30% shield boost |

I gotcha, so the problem actually began when I responded to the troll post, shame on me. Also I wish there was a way you can block reknown trolls from posting in your thread. |

Average c3 site dps for anoms are 650 and 800 if you are a battleship (sig + nasty missiles)
Its better to do them in a passive gila/rattlesnake. Depending on your price range, 2 domis are much better if you don't even fit gist/pith.

Thanks for the helpful fit Krops, I didn't think to use the Capacitor Relays since they reduce shield boost amount, but I guess it's the only way to get this Sleip capstable. Had I'd known the Sleip had such bad cap recharge, I'd went with the Loki.

you can use capacitor flux coils they reduce capacitor capacity but provide same boost as capacitor power relay but no diminishing your shield boosters. always you can use skill hardener that gives +3 or +4 capacitor capacity they arent that expensive and helps a bit |

i dont know about a slepnir but i know on a tengu a large shield booster is...normally not cap stable, and i dont think its a huge deal, it basically just gives you a little extra burst tank in an emergency but otherwise you dont just leave it running. tho a slepnir is a larger sig i dont know how damage it receives differs from a tengu |

With skirm links the Sleips sig is 145 and yes in the Tengu with the Cap Matrix + 3x Cap Rigs+ 1 Cap Recharger II gets over 55% cap stability using the Pith X-Type large shield booster. |

OP, I guess you've already forgotten that you're suppose to IGNORE THE TROLLING POSTS. Meditate on this if you have to so you'll remember next time.
The Loki and the Gila are actually better for C3's then the Sleipnir. The Sleipnir is more suited for PVP than PVE and it's at it's best when fitted with Dual XL-ASB's when used as such.
Get PYTA and experiment with different fits until you're satisfied and try them out on SiSi before you die a horrid death due to a fail fit.
P.S If you're not sure yet on how to fit a Sleipnir for C3's then you're definitely not ready to PVP in one yet, best to avoid anyone you see in this thread at all cost for now. |

Sleipnir is great for C3's togheter with a friend in a dominix or other battleship.
warp in ships at 0 in site, tell sleipnir to orbit domi , melt down incoming frigates with Auto cannons.
Use battleship drones / main weapons to melt battleships , cruisers.
Domi fit can be standard T2 armor tank, sleip might need a deadspace L or XL booster if you want to play it safe.
If you are really worried about the bs in site can fit sleip with 650 arty's to assist the dominix in shooting them larger stuff. |
