As long as you haven't created a new avatar, then your old one should just be there once the fix gets rolled out. If, on the other hand, you did go through the character creation process again, then I can't promise anything, but would recommend you petition the issue.

Did this get patched? I"m having the issue where I have to recreate my characters. I already recreated one so I could log into the game, I'd like to be able to keep the other two as they are.

Neska, your character should be back now.
It works now, right?

If you guys are missing your existing characters (or it was missing and you remade it and want the old one back), please file a petition, and some nice GMs can fix the characters for you :D

Tifa 'Lockheart

All of the above characters have been recreated, but now get dropped straight into caharcter creation on login.
I'd be very grateful if you could look into these Characters for me please.

Mier, could you petition it since I'm on vacation

I actually just fixed jaxx speed, but I'm afraid what will happen if I convert mier while she's logged in

I'll fix Tyrophes and the characters on Omicron Zky's account if they are offline.

Sorry to post in an old topic, but I've been having the same problem as mier and the others. I can't log in to any of the characters on my account without being brought to the character customization screen. Their appearances have been reset and I can't proceed without making changes. I filed petitions both through the website and the client over a week ago and haven't received a response for either. I figured I would try something else by posting in this topic. Thanks.

If you look at my guy over there on the left, he is a rather handsome individual (modeled after me) who I spent quite a good deal of time perfecting.

I took a long break from EVE though, and now it wants me to recustomize that ruggedly handsome face. Which kind of awful.

So if you can help me too, I petitioned, but really want to get back to playing the game.

If at all possible, what would be more ideal is copying his character creation / portrait ontop of a new character I created, Rukongai Rhein.

It's been so long since i've played EVE that I wanted to start all over with a new character, and am really fond of the work I put into Rukongara's character creation.

So either way, I would really appreciate your help!

Confirming the issue is still well alive, I have the problem on this character as well. I've already remade another alt, but if you need some sort of guinea pig to test a large scale solution, feel free to have a look on this one.

I don't plan logging him in any foreseeable future, so no need for a quick fix - I will eventually delete him anyway.
