Edited by: merc999 on 02/12/2006 16:02:23 Turbulent Subversion [TBSV] announce that they have been contracted against The Star Fraction.
As our client stated " If you want to enter someones house and use the facilities it is polite to knock and ask to enter first".
Star Fraction pilots have been seen to state in local channels that they intend to "Move In" to certain systems. TBSV have been contracted to discourage this move.
The first engagement of this contract has already taken place before the formal 24 hour's war declaration has expired.
TBSV looks forward to meeting the Star Fractions pilots in space, and hopes for many smack free fun engagements

So, wait, let me get this straight - your client claims an area of space as their own, but have to use mercenaries because they don't have the means to defend their own whimsical claims?
Awh gee, that's just so cwute!

Edited by: merc999 on 02/12/2006 20:19:49 I dont believe we stated any where that our client claims any areas of space,
I believe we made it clear that our client isnt happy with pilots in an alliance claiming they are moving into an already crowded few systems without even attempting to contact the inhabitants.
As to why we are hired rather than them taking care of business themselves, I dont have that information, but I know they are very busy with other issues at the moment.
See you all in space, and remember to have fun MERC999 Public Relations Director TBSV

If they claim the right to have a say in who spends time there, then I don't care whether they consider it a "claim" or not. If someone dares say we aren't allowed to go somewhere without their leave, they deserve to die.
I really hope no-one expects us to be dissuaded by some random merc of indiscernible pedigree wagging a tail about. Tell your "clients" to grow a spine.

not a very good attempt at smack, which we will obviously treat with the disdain it deserves.

I'm wondering if they've mistaken us for someone else? Wardeccing a RP alliance that lives only to blow the heck out of nationalist xenophobes 1 day after we've finished a seven week war blowing the heck out of nationalist xenophobes (and in the period where we were wondering what to do with all our ships) while great timing from our part doesn't seem to promise many unescorted industrials for these guys to pick off.
Here's to the war and maybe finding out who the "employers" are in due time so we can enrich their gameplay experience too!

And can you send me sf(tsf) killboard link ingame. -------- The BoB model is bad for business. Incidently the BoB model is more suited for a game such as WoW where as the ASCN model more suited for Eve.

I want essays! I love to read JF's inventive diatribes! I want to read lectures on the flaws and failings of tribal groupthink, about how a band of mercenaries are sallying forth a the beck of a huddle of enclosurests!
Looking through old JF posts, they've got far more inventive and amusing smack that what passes for belittling your foes today

Never fear! This is the perfect kind of war for us really. Demonstrating the freedom of individual capsuleers to go wherever they choose without bending their knee and begging for access from shadowy territorialist xenophobes hiding behind second rate mercs. Its going to be good!

Edited by: Roamer excertes on 03/12/2006 15:13:22 Get real here, this is nothing to do with xenophobia , it is everything to do with the arrogance of your pilots. To waltz into an area and proclaim you are moving in without even the courtesy of saying Hello, shows your elitist pretensions.
Hiding behind your proclaimed mission angainst nationalistic xenophobes you are in fact no more than a corp full of its own self importance, and using the "mission" as an excuse to carry out the exact same actions that you declare to be against,
does "4 legs Good 2 legs bad " ring any bells with you all?
The area has welcomed newcomers, the vast majority of corps and alliances not only welcome but also wish to work with others in the area to create a stable safe area for its inhabitants.
But make no mistake, we do not take to being TOLD by anyone what is to happen in our home, 9th Fleet , Mercernary Coalition, The Sudden Death Squad and a ew others have all tried to impose their ways on us via military force, and all failed, You will be no different.
TBSV may not be the biggest or best military force in Eve, But they will fight for their client, and for the area they live in. and trust me continue with your arrogance and I would imagine a lot more in the area will also start to feel that your unwelcome guests.

Roamer,
We have aggressed no-one.
Space belongs to no-one. We don't need to ask permission of anyone to go where we will.
We have no desire to impose anything on the locals of the area by military means or otherwise.
Indeed, the executor of BRUCE alliance welcomed us within a day of our arriving in a personal conversation with me.
So, I suggest you educate yourself on the true situation before presuming to speak for the locals. You slur them with your ignorant babble.

Originally by: Roamer excertes So your pilots walking into an area and Announcing in local channels that they are moving in is the way that your diplomacy works?
Space belongs to no-one. I believe we announced we had no intention of firing upon or disrupting anyone else's operations for the duration of our stay. We were prepared to mind our own business and fire only on those who sought to fire on us. That is a core element of our philosophy. We believe people who believe in territorialism are weak-minded cowards, but as long as you keep your territorial xenophobia to yourself and don't try it on against our vessels we'll be happy to live and let live.
In this case somebody has thrown down the gauntlet and we are fully content to pick it up and ram it down the throat of cultural parochialism with great and evident pleasure.
If you think arriving in a system and announcing that we aren't interested in shooting anyone and won't fire on neutrals is "rank elitest arrogance" then you've led a sheltered life and are in for great surprises in your future life in new eden.
