You put on an ASCN-TV broadcast of anyting near the quality that thes guys did and i'll happily apologize for the obvious lslight that i must ahve caused you by simply not agreeing with you. I don't know SJ, i've never had any contact with him in-game or out, but i've spent a good bit of time chatting to Ifni through his time in BNC, and he was ALWAYS well informed and took matters in his stride with a highly professional attitude, and it looks like that hasn't changed so how about reading what he actually wrote and try and remember that yours isn't the only opinion that matters. And as for Ifni being 'pro' bob just cos he's obviously been in BoB before, think again, we've shot at each other - a fair bit in fact. Strangley though, it's kept civil. I asked him whether HE wanted a witch hunt. I think it would be wiser for him to lay low on this and not throw out tinfoil hat suggestions what may or may not have happened. Read it man, how difficult can it be? However if Ifni further chooses to be part of the debate, I definitely won't stop him. If he keeps his insinuations to himself, then I think it would be better for him, for us and for the debate here.

Yeah it was a pretty daft thing to do, especially using the SJ Character instead of his main, but it has no bearing on his ability as a host. Also don't forget that outside of EvE TV he's just another player. Besides how many viewers did EvE TV have during the last championship and how many of them give two hoots whether CYVOK plays EvE or not? I bet half of them don't even know who CYVOK is! I don't tolerate and associate myself with people like that in real life, and be dammed if I will support someone like this who promoted himself as a community spokes person for EVE through EVETV. People say ôbig dealö this would not have happen if it was posted by an alt. You know what? Your rights because there would be know way of identifying and finding out who he was. But that is not the case, he got caught peaking through the window, and if you do the crimeà you do time.... I don't know about all of you, but if I am looking for someone to not only help promoted EVE in general and further grow the community and game which is what EVETV does, how can you honestly put faith and support in someone like this to do it for you.

What i'd like to address is this alleged BoB bias I seem to have been labelled with. I'm not pro-bob, i'm not anti ASCN. My comments during both tournaments have reflected this. I poke fun at ASCN, I poke fun at BoB. If you want to ask people who got **** off me, ask Morsus Mihi. Ask Burn Eden. Ask Levin the Larper. What I did was wrong about the post, but like I said, that's been done to death in the last 24 hours. I'm not biased. Quite frankly, and I mean this in the nicest possible way guys, cos I know Bobbits have been really supportive during spiralGate, but if BoB crashed tomorrow and ASCN trampled over them victorious, I'd raise a cheer. You're upset because I did something wrong and I can't go back and undo it. But dont use it as an excuse to call into question any bias I have while doing my work. There is no bias. Not that I am against Band of Brothers at all, even though I do joke about "hating bob". The fact of the matter is that Ascendant Frontier had some amazing matches last July, was basically my favorite team of the whole tourney. This is coming from someone that is generally not a fan of large alliances or the politics around CAOD, I can say that I never really paid much attention to that section. Have a lot of interest in Alliance news however its just not a resource I like to get my news from. I can tell you a thousand times that I do not pick favorites, that I am not Pro-Bob or Anti-Bob. I know about as many Bob Pilots as I do any other alliance I have some across. And when cheering in my little control booth during EveTv I base it on which matches I found entertaining. You can call EVETV bias, maybe I am. Maybe I want to give "passionate" players the chance to come to Iceland, have the time of their life and commentate/expert on EVETV. Everyone had a chance to apply to EVETV this time round. Farjung who is a player I have known for years (and in the workload of EVETV I didnÆt even realize he joined Bob), he was chosen because of his playing experience, enthusiasm and completing the lengthy application process. I never look at whoÆs flying with who and let that influence my votes. People play the game in different ways, have different interestsà if the rest of EVETV team was such a fluffy recovering care bear miner like myself you probably fall asleep. ----------- Tune in this friday 1430gmt for EVETV!

He took a very personal article that reached into real life, ridiculed it, and only apologized because of the mob demanding it which makes him not truely sorry. Creating the thread with the wrong character, then knowingly changing the title to something that mods had to censor due to it's insulting-ness is just wrong. Having someone like that as a host just portrays the same image to the production as a whole, regardless of accuracy, that it's alright to take a game beyond what it is and insult the actual person himself and make a mockery of him on a forum viewed by thousands. How would you (generally) like your personal life thrown on a forum and be mocked. That's what's wrong with what he did. It transcends the game. And THAT is why he shouldn't be host. Because he has no sense of morality, ethics, or common sense. Any of those would have prevented this whole fiasco. Hopefully that makes sense and not rambling.

One persons mistake can not justify someones morals, spiralJunkie has put so much into EVETV. He has put his life on hold working months as an essential part of the production. I am not in the position to start joining this thread commenting on the situation. I have however been eve mailed about it, which I more than happy to read through and discuss EVETV with anyone that feels as though EVETV has been offensive in someway. The sheer amount of hilarious moments that would provide would keep me glued to my seat for sure The panel on EVE tv was exactly they way it should be; good insightfull comments, funny if not hilarious at moments (i want more drawings), poking arround with every major allie/contender, having a nice drink at times and generally having a good laugh. It gave me a very good vibe about the whole game. I believe heaps of nice words been expressed in their direction on a few threads allrdy, but couldn't resist. SJ is the beating heart of EvE TV. He's the dude then can post any crap about me or me allie anytime and i still would hug him EVE TV 4TW Jack
