T2 BPO winners. They've got special reserved research slots too, and they're moving the BPs there now. The server is partially down so they don't get ganked on the way.

Man, I just started playing a few days ago and I really wish I had been informed about patches causing this sort of problem. Just used a nav beacon to warp to a hostile area for a mission. So, who here thinks my ship is boned?

With the numbers dropping, the phrase 'logins are being throttled' sounds suspiciously like they are throttling people who have logged in !

Talk about luck... I get in, things run great, no lag or any problem at all... so I change my very very long skill trainning to this very very short one (14 minutes)... 2 seconds later servers kicks me out... seshhhh!!!

almost looks like some sort of cascading node death thing, where it's gradually eating up zones and booting people off.
They cut off logins so that more people wouldn't come in and escalate it. Problem is, it looks to have already reached pretty much the whole server already. Having gone from about 12k people down to just over 800 in a very short period of time like that...
