Edited by: Erwin on 20/12/2006 15:47:26 UNA Recruitment
The UnAssociated (UNA) would like to invite you to take a look at our organization to see if you might find your long term home here with us. If you do not love pvp then I suggest you stop reading any further.
Prologue: Alliances are a powerful yet often frustrating thing about eve. We at UNA know this all to well and have had bad experiences in the past. We offer something different in this regard. An alliance not made up of a group of individual corps, but a family divided only by time zone. Together we form what we believe to be a unique and awesome environment in which to play EVE.
Who we are: UNA is based on already established friendships between the corps under its umbrella. We have fought many wars together and strive to perfect the art of old school pvp combat. We are all corps that put the cohesion of the group above our individual interests. This in turn has shown us that working well together along with great leadership is a very scary thing to your enemy.
The UNA has its roots in Querious. Most of the players under its umbrella all come from the old FIX school of pvp. Through our wars in Syndicate and Geminate, more people have joined our organization. We have grown to include 3 dedicated pvp corps. They are Disciples of the Night, Wreckless Abandon, and Naughty 40. We have all fought together in Geminate, and even at times fought against each other. Out of mutual respect and the love of pvp we have come together and stand behind one goal.
Our Goal: Our goals do not include a region grab, or to build as many capital ships as we can. We are here to advance the art of pvp and to create an alliance where this is paramount. We also strive to foster the bonds we have made between the people in our alliance. This goes above isk and any potential gains we might make as a group. We are all family styled corps. We do not want to grow huge in numbers. We strive to beat the odds and to do so through greater cohesion and skill.
Structure: The major downfall of most alliances is that they grow to quickly or too broad. We have set the total number of corporations in our alliance to a maximum of 6. All corps are the same in nature. Fully based on pvp and well known to each other before coming in and/or splitting from existing corps that have gotten to be too big.
There is one leader that makes decisions and is supported by the other CEOÆs when it comes to advice and decision making. There is no rule by democratic means here. People are listened to, but this does not give them a vote in any form (except to leave in protest). The alliance will grow like a tree, slowly, and pruned from time to time to make sure it is in a healthy state. This process will take a long time and will have our constant vigilance set upon it.
Relations: Relations have always been good within UNA. Since we all agree on the nature of the game and how we want to play it, differences are always minor. We feel that anyone coming into our organization needs to fit into our way of thinking and feel they can grow within the organization both as a pvpr and as a member of the UNA.
Our relations with our friends are identified by others as ôtrustworthy and honestö. We do not start the burning of bridges and we do not forget our friends. This is, however, a game and the friendships we have made have been tested by the changing of the political landscape from time to time. If old friends are on the other side of the battle line they know that we will fire as to not forsake our new friends. This is the way of eve. The true friendships we have made can withstand this with ease.

Edited by: Erwin on 20/12/2006 15:54:16 Edited by: Erwin on 20/12/2006 15:46:01 PVP: We have proven ourselves to those around us. We are not a starter pvp organization. Long histories and experience abound in the corporations that make up UNA. Our excellent and decisive gang leaders are some of the best in the game. Our pvp corporations specialize in roaming gangs. Most of us love to be on the offensive at all times and strive for those memorable (non blob) fights that you remember for a long time. We operate mainly out of point-zero. Our new Killboard might be some help to you.
Recruitment: All recruitment in UNA goes through one gate. Our procedure for selecting people does not differ among the individual corps. If selected as a good potential candidate you will be interviewed by one of the recruiters. If this interview goes well you will eventually be placed in one of our corps depending on which time zone you play in.
Many people have become hesitant in trying out new corps for fear that they will be stuck with another bad decision for along time. Once you have been accepted to join our corp, you will be with us on a trial basis. After a month we will reevaluate everyoneÆs membership and talk with each individual to make sure that they are happy and that the alliance is happy with them.
The alliance recruitment director is Alastorr Frost. If you would like to discuss joining us with someone in your specific time zone or "Frosty"is not available then use the information below.
Public Chat Room = U.N.A

What my dear CEO forgot to mention is we are also straight edge meaning we dont drink, smoke or have sex..........other notable things u must have are: Glasses-we hate contact lenses-, target calling t-shirts, links to the rarest the interweb has to offer and we dont like flavoured milk [cept strawberry but well everybody loves that].

I've only good things to say about Wreck, they are highly organised both in the direction and organisation of everyday corp matters and even more so in PVP.
They run regular gangs with great success, and are mature and level headed and are great people to have as friends, on top of this even if I was an enemy of the corp I would have nothing but respect for them as their conduct is immaculate.
Great corp leadership, great gang leadership, great corp, highly recommended.

I still remember the first day i left my old alliance for the lack of pvp they offered, that day i joined the great bunch of wreckless abandon and have enjoyed it ever since. The experience of the core members of the corp have expanded my knowledge of pvp by tenfold. The organization and leadership of pvp gangs within the corp has make my stay a pleasant one so far. With one of the best FC's in eve pvp gangs are always stacked with fun and lots of killing. Kudo's to SGB!
Wreckless abandon definatlly has boosted my interest in the game ever since i joined them, UNA is a alliance of corporations who have fought alongside for many times, joining will make sure you get the pvp your looking for!

My corp had not been in the Alliance for long until the first major PvP battle occurred, and what fun it was! Regular roaming gangs ftw! The leaders are great, both regarding PvP competence (and all its branches) and social aspects.
If you like PvP and want to learn it, this is the place to be.

Before joining Asuya (who merged with c6 and became wreckless abandon) my pvp experience was limited to killing noobships in .4.
These guys taught me everything I know about pvp in EVE, they gradually led me to become a gang leader of smaller roaming and camping gangs and now I hold a pretty decent place on our killboards.
So why am I telling you this? Because my experience is that Wreckless Abandon is a place for players to grow, not only as pvp'ers but also into the social structure of a really cool corp with some crazy and cuddly (read: sgb) people.

I can vouch for all the statements made in the first couple of posts. This is for serious pvp people who are tired of the politics. Anyone who has been there seen that done that type players who have been around should take a long hard look here.
Although not a member, I know these folks from top down and can tell you for a fact they dont follow the normal allinace political nightmare methology. I can also attest that those who are putting this together have a solid track record of success. Experience has no equal, and lessons learned are absolutely applied here. Hard core pvp people welcome to mecca.

I have been in DON since pretty much it's inception. I was recruited within just a few days of joining the EVE game, and have not regretted it since. Ever since I've been in UNA, any questions I've had, be them for real life issues, or game related have always had positive feedback. As people have mentioned many posts before, we are a FAMILY. That means that you will hear us badger each other, and give each other a good old fashioned hard time just for kicks. Countdown is like a brother to me and I respect him, and all pilots that I fly with.
If you want a Hardcore group of PVP'ers who are close knit, and know how the others think. Then this is the place for you. Want to warp away for awhile? alot of times we know it's going to happen before you do it. That's how well we know each other, and that's why we grow slowly. We don't want a massive influx of people who we try and get to know, but rather people we can fly side by side with and trust.
This alliance is built on Trust and Comaraderie. NOT on how good a player you are. We have noobs, experienced pilots, and those that are becoming veteran PVP'ers. But I will tell you this. Within a month of flying with us, you will be a veteran with many kills under your belt, and hopefully, few losses. We have a very low ratio of losses either in small gangs or large groups due to our knowledge of each other.

They're strictly pvp oriented as any ture "PVP" alliance should be. Also, they have kickass buddies

I mean we do get drunk sometimes but that is only to celebrate our kills and nice loots. Been in Wreckless for a few months now...and still not dissapointing. I'm still a newbie at the game because I just started playing like 4 months ago, but these guys really help you out (could go with some less yelling now and then tho :P, kidding) But you can always ask them everything and that's great.. Beeing the only girl in the oh so manly corp, makes it even more fun.
Learned a lot with PVPing and don't think I would still be playing the game if I wasn't in this corp..They make it really worth while. I like the fact that we do some actual PVPing and not sit at a gate camping a lot, that's just mind numbing.
A note: I just got in because I knew Master Hybride and Sacul already, they DON'T let Newbies in fairly easy..So don't reply to reqruitment if you don't fit the profile for being a Wreck!!

Un-Associated surely is worth the name; not much alliance politics or responsibilities. More of roaming gangs with the family members, small tactical goals.
Reckon our community and way of life is one of the primary reason why I have so good image about Eve : not much lag in small fleets, no day long gate camps or large scale POS wars, nor smack.
So, if you feel you can sustain PvP focused way of life in exchange for adrealine filled fights, join the family.

We do indeed rock and I think after the fight last night we have proved conclusively that sensor-dampening ravens, although shiny, are not the new pwn all setup :)
Generally we win but to fly with the wr3cking train you need a rather lax approach to losing ships and an eagle-eye for that insurance running out (eh Sacul?)
Hope to see some more decent pvpers coming in, we're doing well so far!

What can i say about these guys ?
Well let me break down their tactics/overview :
Teamspeak ....
Generally - drunken pvp fun (sometimes ya get serious sober pvp)
pvp ....
get used to it - its what they do, daily, and boy do they know how to do it ! disgusts me !
Corp chat ....
Unusually full of banter. Nothing worse than corp members actually talking to each other !
General Game play ...
The lengths these guys will goto to make the game enjoyable to everyone is sickening.... i actually saw a guy give a fully loaded ship to a enemy pilot once... these guys need therapy !!!
Mining ...
Well, how to put this .... more chance of finding rocking horse doo doo. I ask ya, how much fun can ya possibly have without a good ol fashioned mining op !
As for the reality, if you like good gameplay with guys that will actually get to know you, fight in regular roaming gangs, win some, lose some (more of the win than lose) and generally show you that eve is game to be enjoyed then you should at least go and take a look. An opportunity that is too good to pass up is on the table - get applying !

Hello Terro, I like your enthusiasm. However, we would prefer you train up some more and get some more experience under your belt. The pvp we do is something you got to be ready for through past experience. You can always talk to us again once you feel you have attained that level. Greets, Erwin

Haha, that's cool, I figured it was a long shot :)

N40 started out fighting Wreck then we bacame allies then we wernt but we had formed a high respect for the them after several invites we all decided we like fighting with so much we joined, N40 is probably the least known corp among UNA but we are by no means the least active or the worst corp we were good on our own we are now far better as part of UNA awesome ppl great fun fantastic fights and some mad suicide runs make this allaince 1 of the best up and coming, so come on join up before the Wrecking Train comes acalling

Well what more can i say..my bro is in there, been in there myself all the way back to its beginnings..ahh the good old days.
If Pvp with Fun is what you want then wreck is for you, the idea that ships and equipment is worth anything to them is insane they will throw everything and the kitchen sink at you if your on there bad side (95% of eve).
If you want a fun corp no crap or the rest and lots of helpfull players that dont just ignore you in corp channell then wrech is for you, on a side note they have one hell of a industrial backgroud hidden somewhere in the shadows so equipment is allways not really a factor
all in all if pvp is your thing join them.
Ps: Remember ya ever shoot me bad things will happen

I've been in a few alliances now and I have to say that this is the best, the main for this is no one talks about mining and everyone is interested in one thing killing, they are all great to fly with and we've had some awesome fights already. The TS atmosphere is good and communication is excellent. I haven't so much fun in months.

Our recruitment office is still open. We are looking for mature players with a love for PvP and a good sense of humour. We're in it for the joy of a good fight, not large scale politics. If you're tired of the drama between the two major powerblocks and just want a daily dose of 0.0 PvP then join our public channel ingame "wreck" for a chat and see where it leads.

Quick Update.
Wreckless Abandon has now joined forces and now falls under the Banner of the Triumvirate alliance. We keep our independance from the rest of the alliance but we still Fly with them Daily engaging in Venal Purging gangs. As some of you might know Triumvirate has now claimed venal as our own. This has of course means that others were kicked out and others arn't happy about it. GOOD! more pew pew for us!
Triumvirate are well suited to wreck The other corps do not care for petty politics we all get along very well and are focused on our current goals of eliminating the scum from Venal and preventing others from taking a claim for it. Venal will stay in Triumvirate hands and now is your opportunity to come and join us.
We are still very keen in gaining more experianced PVP oriantated players. With the joining of Triumvirate the amount of +8 - +12GMT players has increased quite significally but we still want more ANZAC time slot players. That includes you south East Asian players, we know you exist. Come Join Wr3ck today and help to build and shape our future by purging the scum of Yesterday.
TOOT TOOT! Stand clear the Wr3cking Train is coming through!

IÆll start by posting a bit about myself here. If thereÆs any interest in me as a potential candidate, IÆll introduce myself in your public channel this evening.
A bit about my pilot skills:
I specialize in Destroyers and Covert Ops ships, and am training towards Interdictors (gotta love the Sabre) and Recon ships.
While I can fly Cruisers and Battlecruisers, I can't currently fit them as well as I'd like.
The vast majority of my ~7 million skillpoints are in support skills (electronics, engineering, navigation, gunnery, missile launcher) rather than Spaceship Command. So while I can't fly a large variety of ships, what I can fly I can usually fly very well.
My pilot is financially self-sufficient, so IÆm not simply looking for free/discounted handouts of ships and modules. I have a decent stash of ships: Stabber Fleet Issue (faction cruiser), Cheetah (covert ops), Hound (stealth bomber), and several Thrashers (destroyer) located at stations with jump clones.
A bit about me:
IÆm located in the U.S. (Texas), Central Standard Time û which is GMT -6:00. IÆm available to play most evenings and weekends, although there will of course be family and work obligations from time to time.
My game time has been about 99% PvE and 1% solo PvP. I'd like to experience (and learn to excel at) the strategy and interactions of gang PvP. It seems that Wreck rivals any corp out there for gang PvP.
Thanks for your time, and let me know if itÆs worth getting in touch with you in-game this eveningàà

Wr3ck is not heavily US, however as a whole the alliance has gotten a lot of new US players recently. We usually roam as a whole alliance, not just specific corps going here or there.
Here was our showing a couple of hours ago, so our US numbers are pretty rockin now. http://www.eve-triumvirate.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=41943
