Thats almost as crazy in my mind I dont consider ratting or mission grinding to be the definition of PVE in EVE, EVE blends most of the PVE and PVP in a way that makes it hard to really define and point out which is which.

Bottom of the barrel. And that's perfectly well and good, because there's hardly any chance to encounter real PVE in EVE. Find a way to eliminate NPC sales from the market, and EVE will be absolutely, one hundred percent pure PVP. "If God be for us, whom can be against us?"

I havent seen any other games that actually posts news stories on the NPC factions. Also, in a game like EVE, the alliances can make the story for the game in a way. About PVE, a lot of people think this is horrible because they assume PVE only includes ratting, missions, and complexes. I think its great though, especially now that you have exploration. This is what makes EvE's PVE much better than WoW's, here you at least have the choice to grind or not.

Even though I voted for WoW in the PvE category, cause WoW deserves some credit for what it's done for MMOs in general, but EVE is just better in every way. And biggest difference between EVE players and WoW players... we care.

I have been playing 3.5 years now, and everything counted together I've probably grinded a month. I have level 1 and level 2 R&D agents (which already gave me a Pilgrim BPO), I barely do missions (did a few for roleplaying purposes), I don't mine, I don't hunt NPC's, I don't do COSMOS missions and I buy rare skill books. Nonetheless I have 45mil skillpoints, slowly accumulated over time, compared to WoW you need to grind to level up. I have tens of billions isk through reselling and manufacturing (and that one T2 BPO I got from the lottery), compared to WoW, you need to grind to get gold (or whatever currency they have). Besides, if you needed to grind to get anywhere in EvE, I wouldn't be playing in the first place. Grinding in EvE is a choice, you chose to lower taxing percentages or to get better R&D agents or some rare skills through grinding, you are not forced to do so to advance ingame.

Yes you are quite right in the end it was a contest between EvE and WoW so of course as most people on MMORPG.com either EvE fans or not HATE WoW so it ws pretty obvious from the monent i saw who the 2 finalists were that Eve would win in all catagories.
