To those people who are outraged at Goonswarm's uncontrollable quips, this letter will be of interest. People who are well-meaning yet misinformed might also profit by proceeding. For the remainder who are indifferent, faint of heart, or content to let Goonswarm lay the foundation for some serious mischief, I regret that there is little reason to read further. It is requisite, even in this summary sketch, to go back a few years to see how its imprecations may have been conceived in idealism, but they quickly degenerated into selfish incendiarism. Goonswarm is terrified that there might be an absolute reality outside itself, a reality that is what it is, regardless of its wishes, theories, hopes, daydreams, or decrees.

Others have stated it much more eloquently than I, but I honestly dislike Goonswarm. Likes or dislikes, however, are irrelevant to observed facts, such as that Goonswarm and I disagree about our civic duties. I suspect that we must do our utmost to change the world for the better as expeditiously as possible. Goonswarm, on the other hand, believes that you and I are morally inferior to impractical urban guerrillas. Goonswarm complains a lot. What's ironic, though, is that it hasn't made even a single concrete suggestion for improvement or identified a single problem with the system as it exists today. It has been said that Goonswarm's refusal to admit the obvious -- that it is at least partially right in that it has the brains of a house plant -- must rank as one of the most longiloquent disinformation campaigns in history. I believe that to be true. I also believe that Goonswarm might grant a free ride to the undeserving before long. What are we to do then? Place blinders over our eyes and hope we don't see the horrible outcome?

I enjoy the great diversity of humankind, in our food, our dress, our music, our literature, and our forms of spiritual expression. What I don't enjoy are Goonswarm's muddleheaded, treacherous ideas which inure us to ill-bred animalism. People have pointed out to me that Goonswarm deserves to be punished, but I still can't help but think that one does not have to ascribe opinions to me that I don't even hold in order to speak up and speak out against Goonswarm. It is an unenlightened person who believes otherwise. It should be intuitively obvious even to the most casual observer that in a recent essay, Goonswarm stated that skin color means more than skill and gender is more impressive than genius. Since the arguments it made in the rest of its essay are based in part on that assumption, it should be aware that it just isn't true. Not only that, but it has recently been going around claiming that its debauches are the result of a high-minded urge to do sociological research. You really have to tie your brain in knots to be gullible enough to believe that junk. I, hardheaded cynic that I am, truly think that we should empower the oppressed to control their own lives, and I have formalized my commitment to this high ideal by ensuring that I always contribute to the intellectual and spiritual health of the body politic. Goonswarm is leading us down a slippery slope of economic strife, social turmoil, cultural chaos, and licentious, mutinous oligarchism. And that's why I say to you: Have courage. Be honest. And spread the word about Goonswarm's haughty precepts to our friends, our neighbors, our relatives, our co-workers -- even to strangers. That's the patriotic thing to do, and that's the right thing to do.
