Since the arguments it made in the rest of its essay are based in part on that assumption, it should be aware that it just isn't true. Not only that, but it has recently been going around claiming that its debauches are the result of a high-minded urge to do sociological research. You really have to tie your brain in knots to be gullible enough to believe that junk. I, hardheaded cynic that I am, truly think that we should empower the oppressed to control their own lives, and I have formalized my commitment to this high ideal by ensuring that I always contribute to the intellectual and spiritual health of the body politic. Goonswarm is leading us down a slippery slope of economic strife, social turmoil, cultural chaos, and licentious, mutinous oligarchism. And that's why I say to you: Have courage. Be honest. And spread the word about Goonswarm's haughty precepts to our friends, our neighbors, our relatives, our co-workers -- even to strangers. During those times we have completely held Jita, the very heart of the Sanguine Legion, every day and every night without a problem.

We have removed the Sanguine Legion Industrial Backbone, without a problem.

The main corp, Sanguine Legion have split, scattered and ran from us. When they came, they came with no conviction and were slaughtered.

At the start of this week, the only pilot in Sanguine Legion with any pvp honour, Mi Lai, left Sanguine Legion.

We wish them nothing but the best of luck in their future travels and hope they find what they are looking for in Eve.

Are we going to continue camping Jita for the remainder of our lives?

Are Sanguine Legion ever going to be allowed to build up in any way in 0.0 space again?
No. But we might let them conquer a whole region with 5 stations and team up with six other alliances and destroy an entire coalition and get very quiet all of a sudden on the forums about it.

For the moment, we are leaving Jita but we will continue to monitor the Sanguine Legion and should we feel that they have done anything of note in the game, we will destroy it.

I am sure that some of those remaining Sanguine Legion members will be rejoicing at having survived this long against us but I can only ask you were you have been recently.

Due Process
Initial plans and expectations called for an 8-12 month war, with intervention from multiple outsiders on multiple fronts. No requests to allies made; no mercenaries hired. If there was glory to be had, sharing it was never our intent. Furthermore, no attempts on enemy bathroom-sovereignty were scheduled before six weeks had passed. The invasion of the forums led to one of the poorest tactical maneuvers of all time, and let us proceed well ahead of schedule. The invasion of our public channel was done in high spirits and high confidence by the enemy. Within two minutes the channel was secured, and within three it was cleared out.

Following the three failed attempts on removing us from our channel, (which led to the most epic battle of the war), we laid siege to all Goonswarm starbases in EVE.

In conclusion, it took four minutes to break Goons will to post, three minutes to re-conquer our public channel, and four minutes to send them home running. War quickly degraded to bathroom bashing as FIEND went head to head with Goons, but a few memorable battles were had.
