[1] Hello dear vievers, it is me Siddy... i bet some of you have talkked to me in EVE game chat and found out that i am real fresh meat and not some Multi accou that pretend to be... but lets go to busines I am planning to get tempest, way or another i will get tempest. Right now i am 15 days away from getting my BS skill to lvl 2 And right now i am minig Hard to get it. my current rate of minig is 110k units of ombet/Day (30 000 units/70 min) and i can mine much in weekends to So my estimated time of getting abaut 1 200 000 of omber is somevere nexst fryday - give it day of error marginal. i came acros Tempest NPC prize and it was near 90 milion - waht is otrageos   so i checked the Raw material prize for tempest, and it was 55milion My point is if there is anyone who can or is willing to help me in my quest for Tempest, (in 30 days from beginnig of playing EVE - this is my 9th day) please help i can mine some exstra and pay u for your effords to show my grattitude Contackt me here or in EVE game chat all good to u all whishes Siddy - TeH UuBar mineR  ------------------------------------------- |

[7] hope u realise that training 'Big guns' requires you to train small guns then medium guns and Gunnery and all the other skills etc.. same with training 'Big ships' requires frigates and then cruisers as well as navigational skills.. I'm pretty sure you will get your Tempest and spend about a day in it before u get yourself blowed up.. spend some time Flying Stabbers and ruptures hunting 20-30 k pirates before you jump in the big boy. and using a BATTLESHIP to just MINE ? .. gah u make me sick, makes me wanna be a pirate just to smack your Arse, you miserable worm ! ----------------------------------------------------- In space .. no-one can hear you munching crisps in the back seat of your Hauler ! ----------------------------------------------------- Show me the money |

[8] hope u realise that training 'Big guns' requires you to train small guns then medium guns and Gunnery and all the other skills etc.. same with training 'Big ships' requires frigates and then cruisers as well as navigational skills.. Lets say a tempest is 95Mill, omber is 32isk per unit, and you can mine 110K of omber per day. 95mill/32/110K=27 Days Even if you can sell it for a little bit higher I dont see this happening next friday. Lets say a tempest is 95Mill, omber is 32isk per unit, and you can mine 110K of omber per day. 95mill/32/110K=27 Days Even if you can sell it for a little bit higher I dont see this happening next friday. [11] Train skills for a Thorax and u can fit 5 miners II and with a few harvesters added u can mine loads. I think it's stupid to buy a 90 mill miner. |

Like alot of the other people who rushed to get the 'best' and skipped out on the rest of the game, he'll be quitting by the end of his 2nd or 3rd month due to lack of content. PS. I doubt anyone will help you get a BS just so you can mine with it. |

You need at least 1M skill points to be a BS pilot. I have almost 4M and still need a lot of training (elec 5, eng 5, mechanic and hull repair 5, trajec 5, cruise 5, and all those EW skills to 3 or 4 would be nice too). There are PK'ers out there with 4 and 5M skill points just in combat! so dont be silly. I have seen a lot of newbies rush out and get themselves killed literally within MINUTES of getting thier first BS. Plus get insurance and a good clone. Check the price for a Tempest blueprint. You'd need to cover that cost, too. And then there's the small matter of profit. Sellers should (and usually do) charge as much as you're willing to pay. |

[41] thx for the whishe... i figured my self that Tempest is under rated .. it can do monster damagen and u can make it impervios to jamming but its not the PVP i am intrested atm... dont u get somethimes thees feeling: that is the thing for me! i got to get it! i figured that when i mine 2milion units of omber , make some on whit good skills refine it(CEO) and sell the ore at higest prize araund the galaxy- i can afford almost any BS there is out there but tempest is the only thing i want and i got 300k omber in 3 days ( 100k/day ) so i am going strong and on scedual... [47] I made the mistake of rushing to battleships, i lost my typhoon 6 days after getting my newbie hands on it.I've made a promise to myself not to buy a tempest untill i have atleast 4 million skillpoints.I was in frigates for about a month, and with my 1.9m skillpoints i'm just about feeling confident enough for a rupture. Siddy - best of luck to ya, i wouldn't recommend ever entering a 0.0-0.4 system with it, a blackbird would eat you for lunch. |

[53] Aye Tempest is Beutiful ship It got Perfekt Command Bridge desing it got Perfekt Drone Docking tube desing It is beutiful ship by every aspekt there is Gan... thx.. i whuld realy apresiate that To all others saying that Tempest is a killer - not a driller Well... any ship can be a killer... hell, i can outfit my n00bship to kill freighters and miners and other helples targets to and most important rule - any ship CAN be kiled but most importand thing abaut EVE ships is that they only Serves as Equipment Platforms! so baisikly there Is no "miner" or "Destroyer" class wessel introdused yet.... some ships serve as kiling beter than minig...some othervay i my self cant dream right now abaut huntting or PVP due to my outclassed Computer so for now i need tempest for maynly 3 reasons reason 1: its most Beutiful ship there is Reason 2: I can mine in it beter - and so on i can buye all kind of other useful stuff and Third reason is that Tempest whuld realy look Neat in my Ship hangar aside my Probe and Rifter Peoples must have dreams - and sometimes to live up thous dreams we must risk all we got ------------------------------------------- |

Thus, in our eyes unless the tempest market demand reaches 90+15 = 105 mil + at least 15 mil for work, so say 120 mil at least, its not worth our time. Now getting the mineral together can be a pain and its much easier to sell megacyte and single runs for ISK. Thus, in our eyes unless the tempest market demand reaches 90+15 = 105 mil + at least 15 mil for work, so say 120 mil at least, its not worth our time. About time battleships were difficult to acquire |

[65] LOL, this was funny to read through, everyone offering their opinion on what you should do. Alot of what was said, IS true though, especially the skills portion of comments, but in the end, it is your subscription fee that you pay that makes you play the way you want. Good luck in your endeavours to procure one of these nice, and yes, underestimated ships. If I may offer only one suggestion, keep this in mind, how much are you really enjoying all the mining you are doing to get this ship? It's going to be a feeling of great accomplishment when you finally buy and fly it. All that time invested, my only thing I would ask is that the first thing you do is BUY INSURANCE for it. Reason being, and knock on wood here for you, If you ever lose it, you wont get that feeling of despair. And I'm not not talking just about coming across pk'ers, god forbid if you lose a ship to a bug with no insurance. Guarantee you, you won't be as ****ed at anything in this game as you will be because of that. Usually though, some of the GM's are good about that kinda stuff so who knows. |

WElll i am plning to keep my tempest lock up in my Hangar beside my Probe and rifter untill i can train enought skils that let me flee the combat.... Anti warp scramble ..MWD ..etc etc ..... and i am not going to take it in anykind of NPC huntting untill i get my new PC.. my old one sucks.... But the idea of hawing Tempest in ur ship hangar giwe me warm fuzzy feeling.... its like hawing a ferreari but thx for advise anyway... ------------------------------------------- |
