Joe Momiac Caldari Caldari Provisions	Posted - 2007.01.18 17:26:00 - [1] Tyleritus frome adeptus gattacus Lotka Volterra have Violated the end user agremnt by trying to get me to send a screen shot over my main login on the eve client with my username in clear sight.. even if is for catching spies as he told me.. i take that as abuse.. it is like online banking you should never give out username or password frome ccp End user agreament You may not obtain, attempt to obtain, use or attempt to use the login name or character name of anyone else. this there is just to get this subjet up to light.. becuse he told me that almost every alliance do the same thing and i think ccp.. myst do something.. i want to play the game with out worring that my account would be snatched.. selling gtc sometimes

He is looking for other active accounts by asking you to draw down your login. Password is pretty safe as the client hides the actual ****word if one is entered. But... your account login is less secure due to the fact the name is shown. If you are not sure... don't do it. But he doesn't actually ask for a password.

I've had people ask for screenies of the character selection screen, but this is the first I've heard of someone wanting to see the actual login screen, showing the account name. Surely that is against the EULA. I wonder how long it'd take a brute force ***er to * your account login password given the correct login name?
