I call mine things like "Hands off my" or "I went to 49- and all I got was this damn" .. so when it inevitably gets blown to pieces it leaves an amusingly named wreck ;)

I use a prefix for my corp alongside using names that are meaningful to the ship's purpose.
Scorpion - LH-S Dire Harbringer
Blackbird - LH-S Banshee
Salvaging mwd Condor - LH-S Dart
Ratting Drake (Main isk maker for the longest time) - LH-S Ardent Endeavour
Raven - LH-S Malevolence

Megathron: "Gneisenau III" (dont ask what happend to 1 an 2...just don¦t name your ship after Vessels which had been sunk in WW II )
Myrmidon : "Eimer" (Which is German for Bucket...as the "Mopp" in German means "Cleaning Mop"..)
Destroyer: Staubsauger (Vaccuum Cleaner)
Incursus: Rumpelstilzchen (Rumplestiltskin)
Iteron: Packesel (Donkey)
Brutix : Fugly
Vexor : F÷hn (Hairdryer)
