I just have one question.. My ingame char will be able to continue business as usual, right?
You will keep your ingame character. In case you get accepted into CRC you will be provided a special ISD character.

Ah, guessed as much :)
Some more background info seeing as I'm now not rushing to get to College ;)
I'm UK based, and doing an IT Degree (coming towards the end of the first year).
I have to admit, I don't chat all that much on the boards, but I read it pretty much constantly ;) I probably spend more time playing EVE than I should, but doesn't everyone?

We basically need more people to take care of Wrangler's petunia patch. Join the fun and well you can mod and learn a lot about the game by reading the forum. What more to ask for. Come now and join the team.

Hi Guys!
If you're applying to the CRC, you probably shouldn't post details in this thread about your app!
(peers up at some of the above posts)
They really want it kept secret if you are a volunteer and that might make them think you won't be able to keep it private. (I wouldn't even post in this thread at all if you are applying to the CRC!)
Especially since so many people want to be a mod they can be as choosy as they wish!
If you want to include anything special about you to market yourself to them, (like IRC/CCG/Fiction Knowledge), just put it in a box that you don't need to use a lot of (have you been banned from other mmos, etc.) and use the space there.

I have a question,
I applied for the volunteer program a while back, did the IRC bit but have since heard nothing
Does that mean my application wasn't suitable and got filed under b1n, is sat on a desk somewhere or got lost?

Email us at [email protected] and one of the captain's will look at your app and let you know. We've had a lot of applications and the leads have been real busy reviewing them. ___

Goats are actually quite picky eaters, the idea that they eat anything is something of a myth, as any good goat breeder will tell you. What they do like is variety being browsers rather than grazers unlike sheep or cows.
As for petunias I did the first year of a HND in horticulture, so I'd be good at looking after Wrangler's flowers.
However with just a month of playtime under my belt I think I'll continue learning coding and perhaps work on my Icelandic and look for a paid position somewhere.
Besides I like my current sig image too much to want a new one already. _________________________________________________________

In addition to having goats in real life, we had one as our unit mascot in Korea. HE ATE THE BUMPER OFF OUR HWMMV ( Hummer). ( Yep, kevlar tastes goooood).
He later died from eating a metal can.
Yes, most my goats are a bit picky ( like pigs, they prefer organic matter). However, you can't stake them out with rope, cause rope tastes good. We keep them in a rather largish pen. Its ones like our mascot that contribute to the sterotype.
Yes the goat offer stands, unless you previously had a girlfriend named * baabaara*. Then I reserve the right to refuse, I do care about my animals

But I don't want a goat...
I have two already and they're more than enough.
Besides cows are much better.

D Royal
PIRATEN II
NOW RECRUITING pilots of all types noobs miners pvpers capital pilots more ships more reserves more power and an Alliance like none other is soon on the way an Alliance that will shatter all benchmarks today. The plan is yet a fertile seed it will take a year or so to realise but I will get there' and i know u will get there with me
PIRATEN II isnt just a pirate corp but also a college in the dark arts a wealth of knowledge and support for its members. PLAYER OWNED STATIONS ready for launch, with all the plans to make monthly dividends for its members a mining outpost ready for launch also and Capital built ships from PIRATEN II also.
I have been in many corps I have been here since the start of EVE and have done and seen MUCH. the most important traits for me in a corp are good members TRUSTWORTHY who will defend u to the hill wrong or right and hand out the Rollecking after. Members should not fear being kicked from the corp for not being in an op. Tax should be spent wisely and translucently all memebrs have audit VEIW enabled. Not feathering the nests of the CEO CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER or Directors as is usually the case. a CEO who is active along with his directors is 100% crucial in my corp regular meetings plans aims goals Targets and objectives on a weekly basis is the order of the day in PIRATEN II. THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN BEING IN A STIMULI FREE environment it numbs the mind LOOK at the majority of the alliances ine eve to see it for ur self. Focusless/ stagnation and Alliance implosion is usually the latter stage is. MY CORP IS A CORP WITH AIMS JUST BECUASE IT HAS A Skull and bones doesnt mean missoning mining trading plexing are banned , quite the reverse really it better a corp have all this and much more on the drawing board is my philosphy. A CORP that communicates TEAMSPEAK server ready. "A team that communicates is a team that succeeds".
Help, THIS IS the most important aspect of a well run organisation to be able to give knowledge or support to grow ones members, "with knowlege comes POWER". with help comes trust. D ROYAL welcomes all
And I Know in my heart that with knowledge as my Armor trust as my Defender AND Loyalty As mY Sword This corpoaration soon to be Alliance, we will walk hand in hand United under the PIRATEN II Banner Rellentlessly bringing order where there is Chaos and I will shine the torch of justice and hope where there is Despair.
THIS WILL HAPPEN.
join PIRATEN II TODAY THIS WILL BE THE BEGINING OF A 1000 MEMBER CORPORATION THEN AN ALLIANCE UNLIKE NONE BEFORE

Edited by: PtolemaiosPlato Solomon on 03/02/2007 18:28:53 Nice recruitment posting. But you have forgotten the payment details. Or did you intend to get labour "for free", because "fun is payment enough" for the persons working to make EVE a successful game? He he!
Please can you add the payment details? I would be quite interested, if the payment terms are correct. And I would like to do my best to give my time despite my expenses (connection time) in return to make EVE even more successful for you, CCP, and an acceptable payment for me.

Zip. Nada. Nothing. And still we are usually a very happy bunch of people. A mystery? Nope. Most of us spend a lot of time reading the forums anyway, so why not make ourselfs useful while we are at it? Thats my reasoning anyway. I dont even see it as work... to me, its more a chance to be able to clean up the bad posts I see while being here. If you want that option too, apply for crc.
