I have to admit to never having done one of these before. But once you understand some of the logical steps it kind of falls into place.
No doubt there are some short cuts that could be taken, however, given this is a fictional game, you can never tell when a proper noun or abbreviation is going to hit (and thats the reason why punctuation should be included Torn :P)

I think we need some additional clues here.
The letter frequency indicates, that this is not a substitution cipher like the previous ones.
So it is a transposition type where the true letters of the message are taken out of their text-order.
I have tried different schemes - making different linebreaks and reading the text horizontally etc.- but so far nothing seems to work.
The distribution of the periods and the capital letters are somewhat strange, almost no capital letters in the first part og the message...

Well, 08211201 for the first one (happily I wrote a small program to do this sort of thing for me a long time ago). Incidentally, the index of coincidence was = 0.064564 or thereabouts.
Didn't look at the others. Might later.
