Late in 2003, a girl named Aminida got a superb idea and started an in-game channel for females only. A channel where girls alike could hang out and talk about what ever they wanted. Since then, the channel has gone through several changes and improvements. For the last couple of months WGoE has been taking a break from interviews and recruits. Now we have finally gotten our stuff back together and eagerly await new additions to our lovely channel.
If you are a female playing EVE and want to join our channel all you need to do is contact one of our moderators:

Malindah
Zajo
We will then set-up a day for your interview. The interview is needed to make sure you truely are female 
Make sure you have teamspeak/Ventrillo sorted out!
We got a public channel as well, where all females and males are welcome to join:

I don't get it why segregate yourselves unless your just going to become the View and say things like:

Channel Members: Boooo!
the same discussion arose from a now deleted post that involved some ***,tranny,bisexual channel
what ever happened to fighting for equality?
also there are no girls on the internet

I don't get it why segregate yourselves unless your just going to become the View and say things like:

I don't see a problem with this and its a great idea, so long as Men have the same protected right on EVE to form men only channels in the same way.
Select groups are what the game is all about, so long as everyone has the same right.

In the long run most people don't give a toss where you male, female, black, white, yellow, purple, pink and green with spots. Not the first thing people think of when they meet someone in the game. But still good theres a community out there that caters to every persuasion of the eve populace

I created this alt to see how many OMG a GIRL!!11eleven! replies i got. 6 in newbie corp chat, 4 private convo's and 7 evemails.

Depends on the level of maturity of those around you, but as you said MOST dont care, its the minority of immature players that scares some female gamers into hiding (ie pretend to be guys)
