I thought 0.0 stood for coordinates 
Ironically I did a people and places search for 0.0 and went into syndicate and got my velator popped by a thorax. That was a long travel back home to durapaint I tell ya

I thought you had to reload by dragging ammo from your cargo to the gun... really sucked in a Cormorant trying to run missions

I was blissfully unaware of the ammo requirements until I found mid-mission that I'd ran out of charges. In a Velator. At the same time I didn't realise I could warp out of an encounter by normal means.
D'oh!

After that, I just sat in the station and browsed the market for a very long time, until I'd formed a picture in my head of how things fit together and how the game worked.
Then I got myself a Merlin. I remember thinking how tough it was. I put a tech 2 AB on it, along with blasters and rocket launchers.

It took me ages to figure out how to use cargo expanders. I spent ages putting them in my cargo and thinking 'wtf, it's not made my cargo any bigger....'

I thought every time you wanna train some skill for a level up, you have to buy it again. I had 3 Amarr frig skillbooks, 4 learning skillbooks..... I bought like 12 skills I allready had trained to lvl 1 or 2... |

I used to think jaspet was an awsome, elusive, mysterious & magical ore. Not anymore
Also when was mining in 1.0 in my velator spent 15mins in curious fear when a giant, bloblike ship entered the belt i was mining in n just sat there. Turned out the guy was just writing a recruitment evemail n was in a dominix. But i remember it looking like a sea urchin & was intimidated to say the least

I made up a plan to take over the market by buying all cap recharger II bpo and started my plans on making Jita the empire market hub.
Both worked out after 2 days of playing... I know I rock
