I wouldn't worry too much about it. Let them war dec you, and let them come. They will try to extort money from you, say no. They will probably try to blob you for awhile, however, if you are able to take out a large number of their ships, they will mostly leave you alone... but still try to extort money from you.
Eventually, they'll get bored, and move along.

For the next week, I will be calling every Pirate a dipstick in local just to see if I can prod some idiot into wardeccing my corp.
Worst case I lose a few of my T1 fitted Rifters.... in order to take 50 million in damage I guess I'd have to lose well over 100.

If you think the wardec was made before checking out the corp info then you're extremely short-sighted.
And to Karlemagne : That's an interesting fiction. Needs padding out though. _____________________________________________

Fact: Fatal Persuation War Deced The Black Fleet Fact: They then proceded to camp Black Fleet, not engaging in combat unless their faction Nanophoon was present Fact: Fatal Persuation asked for 400 million isk to end the war (what a joke, we're a pirate corp, we would never pay) Fact: When a large engagement finally took place, and Fatal Persuation and her allies lost a dozen ships, they never showed back up in our home system enforce again. Fact: Fatal Persuation then tried to sic Star Fraction on us Fact: Fatal Persuation asked for isk one more time to "reset" standings Fact: I turned them down again Fact: The next day they let the war dec expire, and left Placid.
Honestly, don't worry about these guys. I mean, they are good pilots, but they don't have the stamina to take serious losses, and bother with you for more than a few weeks.

And if by sic then you mean station our capital assets there and occationally run around ganking people when we were bored, then yes. Unfortunately I've lost all my logs with the precious "capital = nub" smacktalk.
The Black Rabbits are a powerful and efficient corporation. It is amusing that you must act so defensively against somebody who only bothered with you as an occational distraction, of course, to a corporation with your low level of presence being ransomed for 400M probably made you feel all warm and important inside.

Our killboard disagrees. Of course yours is poorly maintained, with few pilots posting losses, and I can't link ours here to prove it. Its easy enough to find though.
We left Placid because the reason we were there (assisting SF in a campaign) came to an end. You can make yourself feel important by pretending you were part of that reason and also part of the reason we left, but you're fooling no-one but yourself. _____________________________________________

Those are just the facts. The reason your "killboards" don't reflect the real damage is your allies kills (Sanguine Legion) aren't up on your killboard.
However, the fact of the matter is, you guys left placid (star fraction didn't,) we're still here... oh, and you're a dipstick!! *waiting for another "roleplaying" war*

I think Star Fraction and Fatal Persuation need a lesson in who Black Fleet is. Defeat is a state of mind, we have fun winning or losing. It's nerds who get angry over a game. We like to pull people's chains and irritate them into war deccing us because we know we can. We have some some amazing PvPers on our corp and some half decent ones. We win some, we lose some, but you kill our ships, we buy more and keep coming. No surrender and have fun in the process.
So in our own personal opinion (which is the only one that matters) we cannot be defeated, defeat will only come when you make us dislike this game that we love so very much.

lesson here: don't smack talk. better to ignore anyone you feel like taking out anger on. smack can lead to this bs and worse if you lack control and the smack target is a oversensitive petition-happy crybaby.
if you want to avoid decs, you just don't provoke people unnecessarily. if you really didn't lose much, there shouldn't have been a reason to be that upset. a simply fitted hauler aint gonna put you back more than a mil and a half, i'd expect. -7san |

*blinks*.. What?.. Karl, normally I'll give you the benefit of the doubt as an accomplished "PR artiste", but honestly you're reaching a bit too far this time.. Kills against an entirely different corp are not kills against the Rabbits.. Including them would make as much sense as including our Noobcorp kills in efficiency calculations against your corp..
At the end of our vacation in Placid, the Rabbits had a K/L ratio in excess of 5:1 against your corp.. The Rabbits inflicted over 2.2 billion ISK in damage against you.. Your corp managed a meager 450 million.. We left Placid, and you stayed, in the same exact manner that the victor leaves the battlefield with the corpse of his enemy left in the dust behind him..

Rabbits, drop Blackfleet from this conversation..
1) don't feed the trolls 2) this is an ooc forum and we don't discuss our 'combat results' oocly in public 3) Blackfleet is off topic 4) Everyone knows what happened 5) Karl just came in here because he is bitter. ignore him, he will leave 6) This thread is for the dipstick discussion and I hate thread hijacks, don't participate in it..
Karl, if you really want to discuss/gloat/whimper about Placid.. make your own thread, that is fair to the OP.
Thx.

No see what he means is that you'll charge Black Fleet ships with a mixed gang of you're corp and another separate corp, and when you lose say for example 12 ships, 6 of yours and 6 of the other corps, and Black Fleet loses 12 ships, its technically even but your corp lost less ships because you employed help.

I will end this discussion on my terms, not the Black Rabbits (just as we fight our wars.) Scound is correct. When your war "effort" employess mixed gangs, and you have access to their kills on your killboard without their losses, it tends to "skew" data.
This is neither here, nor there. In respect to the OP, it is our opinion, after having fought the Black Rabbits that there is nothing for them to worry about.
If, as in our case, if you engage them and destroy a large number of their ships, the will become uninterested in you.
Don't get me wrong, Black Rabbits are very good pvpers (personally I think the soon to be nerfed faction nano pilot is an exception,) they just don't have stamina for a long term, or costly war.
You can beat them by:
1. Killing a large number of them at once 2. You can wait them out, despite what they might tell you, they are the onces who lack patience

Not to argue with a mod here, but this is about as on topic as it gets. The original poster mentioned that the Black Rabbits war deced her over the use of a word, we gave advice to the OP based on our war experience with the Black Rabbits.
Seriouslly, I'm not sure, given how things go on this forum (like have you seen EVERY other thread on this forum), where the stay on topic warning is coming from.
