Nice tactics, as it uses the defenses of the TLF against friendly fire for the protection of their pilot, while at the same time giving them some (limited) intel from within the TLF. |

Interesting that they openly brag about such underhanded tactics, normally braggarts tend to chestbeat from a higher pedestal. Of course all it takes is someone working within the Amarr Militia to simply turn up and shoot said T3 out of the sky.
Anyway my nomination would be for Captain Starfire for her work in forming Teraa Matar, and being a great example of grace and dignity in an environment that breeds people with less than acceptable civil qualities.
However if there's a potential lifetime achievement award, I'd like to nominate Dr. Evanda Char. Not just for her work this last twelve months, but for several years, dedicating herself to research and matters purely in the interests of both the Republic and for humanity as a whole. |

Djan Shilde gets my vote. She has been working hard this year to bring in new pod pilots to faction warfare, but doesn't stop with simple recruitment. She leads fleets most days to train those new pilots in fleet tactics, pvp mechanics, and destruction of slavers. And have you seen her full body portrait? The Gallente in me says...YESSSSSSSS!  |

In the beginning we settled our differences with a frig battle witch showed just how competent as a pilot Ava Starfire is. When I started flying for the 24th Imperial Crusade, I respected her as a fearsome rival. She was a force not to be underestimated. Now that I no longer fly under the Amarr Banner she was just as quick as me to make a no fire pact between our corporations showing that she has respect for true warriors as well. For this and her unquestionable devotion to the protection of her race. She has my nomination and what will be an easy vote when the time comes.

So much slander, accusations and paranioa. This is the bane of faction warefare. Be your opinion as it may it changes little to the fact that as the rules clearly state below:
Nomination Phase:

Gùï Any member of the Minmatar Republic can be nominated.
Gùï Nominations MUST include the name of the nominee and WHY they are nominated.
Gùï Nominations not fitting the above criteria will be discarded.

Arbane is very much within the lines of the qualification criteria.
Unless of-course some rule will be made up on the fly to exclude him somehow? |

That said, I really don't care who people vote for, they can vote for him if they wish. Given who I voted for in the PIE awards I think it's only fair. |

Really, I'm noticing a decided lack of serious nominations. Obviously we can ignore smurfsbrigade entirely here, but what's with all the nominations for this Ava Starfire person? Never heard of her and her combat record is rather uninspiring.

Just so you know, Ava Starfire recently defected from Electus Matari , too the militia to help us in the front line. Maybe looking at her statistics in other channels will high light this talented pilot. I also believe she is quite active in the actions of system control, along with Sasawong and co. Ultimately though you will never know them unless your have fought shoulder to shoulder with them, I assure Gald she is no comic relief. |

Quite simple. The award was open for all Minmatar out there, with people being able to nominate who they deem worthy, as per vox populi. After a certain individual has gotten a certain number of nominations, the organizer suddenly decided they'd be excluded from the ballot for no real reason given. From what I've seen I can only suppose the the problem why mr. Arbane is seen as less-then-equal than his peers is because he is advocating a peaceful solution to the conflict at hand.
I'm sure it would be quite a thorn in a number of people's sides if the person who wins this isn't a bloodthirsty murderer to fully represent the true facade of the Tribal Liberation Force.
Ergo, it was and stays a farce. But go on, I'm sure you can make it even more entertaining by the time the nominations close.
