Nice job Outbreak
Much respect for an audicious, well executed, well thought out plan. Ever since fighting you guys in the "northern fun" I have respected your abilities and this will show the rest of Eve why. Even though such demonstrations are hardly needed (most of the eve pvp force is well aware of what you are capibable of.
From one of your "Northern Competitors" Congratulations for getting some of your own back in this fashion.
Mad props from me for this. Your signature is too large. Please see the Forum Rules for the limits - Serathu ([email protected])

Sorry to say but I will refuse to be called spawned by FIX. We do have some or maybe a little more then some EX-FIX but those people mostly left fix a couple of months before it turned into FIXmk2. 0utbreak are fighters and most of us never cared on which side they were if they had something to shoot they were happy. For an example myself fought FIX on the side of SA and then moved into FIX to see the fight on the other side.
We are fighters, and some like me ex-carebear but that's about it :P

Extremely nicely put together. It was a dramaturgical textbook example (can you even say that?), and it was probably the most interesting movie I've seen on eve-o. Top class, and extremely satisfying

can u imagine how the guys were feeling when at the moment we hear "he's at the gate ready to jump in" and all of us have taken all but frieghters off overview we have one on auto pilot arrive at the gate 15 k off,,,, there was a little pause after a quick scream of "dont fire " while we wait for the unlcuky punk(s) who die locking the wrong guy... fortunatly esp looking at our deaths v target noone lost a ship early... we had to sit there and wait the time it takes for this guy to slowly crawl to the gate before it kicked off. I really would like to talk to concord about the lag tackticks though.. and the obviouse log on tricks (I dint see a cyno). Do they have anything to say>?
anyone seen the inners of a concord frieghter>? maybe its time we all fought back

It's neither! I'm not buying your argument at all. Stop applying real-world economics to Eve - the computer-managed insurance scam voids the comparison. The corp has paid for nothing - it sells to me at mineral cost, building a BS with PE5 off a well-researched BPO. The corp doesn't lose any money, and neither do I, and the opportunity cost of the labour effort was borne by a third party.
I outright repudiate the notion that the lost sales opportunity translates into a book loss. You can't even do that in the real world; it'd be accounting fraud leading to corporation tax fraud.

That is true. But it's often impossible to accurately state the sales value of the item as they are complex and specialized. Further the 'lost' item may have been incomplete, making this even harder (while in EVE, all items are standardized). And ofc we can't have a system where the books say the company has lost everything they had when they obviously haven't. But the managers and shareholders will def not see it that way. In fact, what would the RL value of shares be if ppl didn't think of the opportunity...
So, yes you are correct that it doesn't translate into a book loss. But it sure is a loss anyway.
