There needs to be far more transparency on this issue. There have been concerns that a specific GM has given poor service on petitions to a specific alliance(s) that Enslaver was at war against. It would be very easy for CCP to say that Enslaver is not GM Zhainus or GM Sunshine. I think if this is a 'non-issue' then you can at least give us that much.
I'm sorry that this is a hard time for you and your employees, but your employees actions, not the hackers have brought this on themselves. I'm perfectly willing to believe that Enslaver is A-OK and has done his job well, but you need to clear up the issue on whether or not he is the GM that coalition members believe has been acting improperly.

Why i'm not suprised...
I have nothing against The Enslaver, i don't care if he is a GM or not, aslong he plays as a normal user.
To CCP: null LetĘs step back for a moment and ask ourselves if we want to become involved in the sordid practice of internet stalking that this campaign has become. Let history judge us from our actions
If you would have handled the last GM mis use (with t20) a better way, maybe this would not have happened. Some Alliances have make billions of isk from thoos BPO's and CCP has done nothing, not even when the communty was screaming for it.
I would say "look to yourself first CCP, and don't blame others for your own mistakes".
If BoB kills a offline Titan, then its ingame tactics, if someone els does the same on TS and dig a bit more to find a GM, then its called Hacking. What ever sweets your goal!
I realy hope this will not escalete like the one in januari.
I'm sorry for The Enslaver and i hope he don't need to delete his account. But i'm not sorry for CCP, what go's arround, comes arround.
Cheers

Edited by: The Mittani on 02/03/2007 18:12:18 It doesn't look like Enslaver did anything wrong. Though I don't think devs/gms should be involved in 0.0 politics, especially not as alliance leaders and capital pilots, there's just nothing compelling or scandalous here.
Enslaver is a bit of a doof, and he's on the wrong side of our guns, but in this incident we have an innocent guy getting dragged out in public for the mere fact that he's a GM, not because of significant evidence of corruption (as in the case of the previous scandals). I don't approve of this at all.
And that's the official statement of the Swarm.

Edited by: Waagaa Ktlehr on 02/03/2007 18:12:50 Congrats on your new job, Ens. Some things make more sense now. :)
This Kugut whatever his name is guy needs to stop this crap.
The thing he's doing is illegal in a lot of countries, except for Indonesia.
One of my friends that knows about law told me that technically it isn't illegal if we would hire a HIV infected prostitute to appease him. At least, it isn't in Indonesia.
Both things are morally wrong though. I actually hope that CCP doesn't delete characters outed this way. -

I also think its time that CCP started banning the people repeating these accusations and allegations from this forum and the game. Its got to stop somewhere and it won't without firm action. CCP, you have a duty of care to your employees .. its time you stood up for them.

I'm fairly certain that the Enslaver was not GM sunshine. GM sunshine is either blatently corrupt or just pathetically stupid, neither of which fits the description of the Enslaver.
Also, isn't GM Zhainus an old gm? If that's the case then he also couldn't be the enslaver.

From your blog:
Quote: and he has almost completely withdrawn from his alliance duties.
What does this mean? I think he should be completely withdrawn don't you? Is anyone else comfortable with a GM being a part-time leader in a major alliance? Especially a GM who went buck wild about his killmail count when he used his Titan?
This doesn't sit well with me and I think it should be pretty obvious as to why.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. WHY on earth would anybody deliberately hire an HIV infected prostitute???
Seriously, what was the point of that analogy?

Well, I for one has had my suspicion confirmed regarding that hacker. It is obvious to those with a half a braincell what went down in this case. Enslaver did nothing wrong, I seriously question the hackers motives. I am confident that banning all of his accounts were justified....If I were CCP I would be looking at legal options by now.

But the system was needed to be shown to work.
