Please fix the loot tables (no more 1MN ABs from battleships), and maybe include the rare T2 item or BPC drop from elite NPCs.

Edited by: Redblade on 04/03/2007 00:01:44 Deploy rest of the T2 bpo's and balance invention while keeping the bpo's and give invention a very slim chance of creating a bpo either over time due to more research or as a simple % chance, this in the end resulting in more and more bpos on the market over time as u proceed towards T3.

Work towards way of reducing the POS spam warfare we see today, either by simply add a cap of towers ur able to have counting towards SOV in a single system, make it so u have to remove SOV before ur allowed to tick the claim SOV box or any other sollution that brings more fight to a war then having alts anchor towers and shoot POS all day long.

I would ask CCP to focus more on less violent forms of PvP than "pew pew".

Give POS a chance vs dreads. Anti-Dread weapons with huge ammo costs that can only hit the side of a barn if it's 1km wide and in siege mode. |

CCP employees must earn the right to play EVE recreationally, instead of by default being given special knowledge and the opportunity to abuse that knowledge in one fell swoop.

Regain our thrust in your staff and the 110% T÷tal Helldeath Support from us
Let me explain why:
During the recent events (T2 BPO Spawning, the rabble rabble on the forums, that POS Incident and thousands of abused tinfoil hats) many of us have lost some faith in the ccp staff (some might have even quitted in anger). I confess I never worked for a game company, therefore my point of view might be biased but sometimes I felt that the official response takes ages if some major issues are adressed (e.g. the POS feature, most peeps in the community didn't even know that forcefields are intended to work that way).
If i could sit in the Senior Producer's chair I would try to regain that thrust by adressing the current issues EVE has with absolute priority (let's say just 1-2 month nonstop-work on the current issues before starting the work on the next Revelation part).
For example the loggoffski, probeable complexes, ub0r-nano BS (even though i like the challenge to kill 'em ) and some minor annoying stuff (my local still crashes from time to time ).
yust my 5 cents and yeah i know my english sucks

Give recourse to people whose targets have escaped their clutches. In other words, move combat away from the "100% lockdown or else you never see your target again" paradigm. This would make warp disruptors a convenience but not an absolute necessessity, and would let pilots take greater advantage of mid-range weapons.

Small guns appear much larger on frigates than medium guns do on Cruisers, or Large guns on Battleships. Please make Medium and Large guns larger so that ships look much cooler. Also, please add a graphic for missile launchers.

Range filter for the map, selectable by jumps or lightyear range.
Say, i'm looking at a route, I don't really need to see the whole cluster, which is a lot of clutter on the map that is of no use to my immediate navigational needs.
So, as head janitor, I'd put in a filter to show only the systems within X jumps, or the systems within a X.X ly sphere from my current position. I'd also make said filter use current autopilot settings.

Allow corp offices to have "shop-fronts" - allowing us to sell our goods not just on the market, but directly to customers in station (with discounts/surcharges based on corp, alliance, sec status, standing, etc, etc, and optionally with a minimum order value).
Maybe even multiple shop fronts (or departments within our own super-store) to allow us to segment our products based on their natural groups - for example, a "Gallente Heaven" shop, where i sell my blasters, drones, and gallente ships. A "Capital Productions" shop which i used to sell the capital ship components we make. (of course, it would need to include setting buy-orders in-shop)
I'm sure you get the idea... (We can optionally choose to not display these products on the open market just in our shops - or maybe its always like this!)
This would help those of a manufacturing persuasion to build up reputation and order books.

While I would like to have CCP change specific things, what I'd like to see changed the most is not a system, module or ship, but rather the developement philosophy CCP.
There are lots of little things that can be quickly and easily fixed, alleviating a lot of annoyance from gameplay but are simply left behind because of bigger projects.
Too often have I seen new systems being implemented but only half-way done (eg exploration, the new map system, contracts), or old bugs popping back up (eg ship zoom after session change) even if a patch had nothing to do with it, updating simple things (website database, module/ship descriptions) etc.
In short: What happened to quality testing? CCP take time and care to think what you're implementing thoroughly, take time to pay attention to details.

In a game with an economy as huge as Eve's, where the players make huge investments into projects (some even with real money via GTCs - not saying this is good or bad here) and have to plan skills, investments, supplies and many other things for days, weeks and months in advance...
We need "Planungssicherheit" ... let me think of a translation... We need a playing field where we can make investments and not having to fear that the next tweak, patch, nerf or whatever will shift the markets so much that our investment gets lost...
That said...the consequence for the implementation of new features would be a longer testing period with proper balancing in the test servers and less of this radical balancing stuff you have done recently...
drastically adjusted - is what seems to happen a lot... IF something is happening...
What I wish is...that you adress things that need to be adressed quicker (when they already are on TQ) but do things less drastically...
Its a virtue to know moderateness...

Titan Doomsday weapon, Jump Gate and Warp ability tied to the same one hour timer, thus making them a much more interesting tactical problem.

Can't stuck to one comment... Because EVE is a two products, working together.
For server: Real clustered core. How fast You start, how fast You finish.
Current 3Dgrid was an error and leads project to some consequent errors and to dead-end as a result.
Also it will be a good chance to implement real-sized objects, like planets and moons, and resolve many side-effects specific to grid-style universe.
I.e. starbase placement. Better to place POS directly at moon surface, but simple rule may be: close than 5.000km to center of moon (hope EVE not have moons larger than 5.000km radius, typical moon in our Solar system is about 1.200-2.700km in radius), no other POS'ses within 10.000km (Sure You cannot place other POS within 5.000km radius from moon with that rule, so "only one POS at moon" applies automatically).
For client: Make working client. No comments about current implementation. -- Best mining place here < |

Probably you should pay attention on DownTime. Work above the technologies that for backup and updatings it was not necessary to stop all EVE cluster. In general, make DT not daily and for the beginning weekly.
