The Hulk BPO owners.
Hulks sell for 600m each, now why is this? It's because they arn't inventable, that's why. It's the most overpriced T2 ship, costing as much as a faction battleship. If hulks were inventable (like they are supposed to be) then people would be inventing them and you can bet they would be selling for a lot less than they do now.
Hulk BPO owners must be rejoicing over the fact that CCP don't think this is high enough priorty for a fix. Invention has been out for many months now and i honestly can't believe T2 barges (mainly hulks due to cost and the effect it's having on the game) are still not inventable, i mean just.... WTF!
Why does the paying customer have to put up with this? Hulk BPO owners are making 10s if not 100s of extra billions EACH, over what they would have made if hulks were just inventable from day 1 of invention. It wasn't even classified by ccp as a bug when invention went live. Apparently the only non inventables were drones and T2 ammo, it didn't take long for people to figure out T2 barges wern't inventable either, apparently people figured it out before CCP did though.

CCP seems to hate miners.. i mean with the drones giving out minerals and the hulk prices stupidly high.. oh dont forget the fact that we dont get capitals.. and that our ships are paper-thin and have no real bonus.. such as a cloak.. and the fact that we have to train nearly every single ******* skill in the game to mine efficiently.. navigation, sheild tank, armour tank, engineering, industry, science.. ship command.. etc..

hush up Alt.. no one cares about your opinion.. as for hulk prices they are completley insain.. true a hulk can earn its worth in high security space in about 80 hours of mining but seriously.. just to get one.. they used to be 400mil when they were relised! and we all know what prices are like when new stuff is relised.. such as the abaddons that were 300mil or the carriers that were 3billions isk..

Congratulations, you win this weeks, "most inventive claim of an exploit/bug" award.
Its neither an exploit or a bug, it simply hasn't been implemented yet. |

it is an exploit.. the fact that BPO owners can charge this sort of price because they are the only ones with access to the most efficient miner in the game.. which by the way is the biggest business in the game.. is absolutly ******* retarded.. and someone in CCP needs to be shot for it.

It's NOT an exploit (they're not doing anything wrong themselves) but it is something that could and should be fixed. I don't understand the reasoning as to why Hulks shouldn't be inventable, if there is any. Changing it would be a good move, imo. --------

it is an exploit in the sense that they are abusing their power.. if you own the cure to a virus then relise the virus on the people you have the power! ( from V for Vendetta!)
its the same principles if you have the power to build ships and then EXPLOIT customers through monopalising the market therefore it is an exploit and it shouldnt happen because trading standards(CCP) should say.. you cant sell that for that price.. much like the real world.. who wants to buy my bread for 500 quid each slice because i own all the bread in the world!

Hulk BPO owners make as much isk per day from one Hulk BPO as the combined amount of isk that a group of people get from running a 10/10 complex. Therefore having your own Hulk BPO in production is equal to receiving all the isk made from a 10/10 complex run once per day. JUST WITHOUT THE RISK.
It wouldn't be this way if hulks were inventable, they are SUPPOSED to be inventable, but they arn't, why not? Only ccp know. Tinfoil hat time, certain devs own hulk bpos so they are trying to avoiding fixing the problem for as long as possible so they can make lots of isk on their player characters.

That is not an exploit. At worst it's asshattery.
An exploit is game mechanics being used in a way they are not supposed to be. Selling stuff is supposed to happen, kthxbye. --------------------

What a comparison! no, you dont pay 500 quid each per bread because bread is considered staple food and the recipies are old and not too hard to understand for everyone. If you do the comparison with r/l then you should compare it to a Rolls Royce. You got the covetor on the free market which is a regular medium sized car and the Rolls Royce with exorbitant prices which is a luxury. So, do you whine in r/l as well that you can't have it? or you got to pay a high price for it?

This man speaketh the truth. It is SOMETHING, but its NOT an exploit. An exploit does not mean this.
The T2 BPO owner is not doing anything "wrong", per se. They're not being very nice, sure, but no one said they had to be nice (not many people in EVE are). They're doing what every single seller of every single item in the game is doing- selling their product for the best price they can get. The blame is on the Devs for having accidentally created a situation where demand far out strips supply, and it's them who can fix it, not the BPO owners.
CCP can fix it by making it inventable. No need to act like a vicious pit bull towards the sellers in the mean time- they're only doing what all sellers do. --------

then by your logic.. because we are not nice we should have to pay 1 billion isk for lets say.. an enyo? because they own the BPOs or prehaps the entire T2 BPO community should band together and bump up their prices to around 1 billion isk for a t2 item..

The fact is though that CCP don't fix it, they don't make them inventable, after all these months. People, such as myself, are getting angry over the fact that it's been left like this for so long, it damages the game, and it damages CCP's reputation, which i notice has been happening a lot recently, not that other things have anything to do with it, but this is one area where ccp could turn a lot of unhappy people into happy people, yet they choose to ignore it.

EVE is a free universe and abusing power is ligit gameplay. Some day invention for the hulk gets fixed. Before Revelations there was no invention at all and people had to live with the prices, too. ___________ Muuuhhh !!! |

CCP have to show some care for the customers, or they wouldn't get any, there needs to be a balance of making money, and customer care. This is just one thing they've chosen to ignore for a long time now, they won't even comment on it, which i find to be ridiculous.

because it is efficient enough to earn 600mil in 80 hours mining in high security space and it has the ability to earn you isk.. but to get one of these beasties you have to spend all your isk getting it... i want cheaper hulks.
