D2 doesn't really have a presence in EC (other than holding the station) and D2 wasn't the one who had the oh-so-glorious idea to put an outpost into a system one jump from Empire in the first place, so give them a break already.

They are simply returning what is a next to worthless station and system back over the general public. Plus they get to make a few iskies in the process

I thought this invitation would be a pirate magnet camping the gate to empire. I was right. I flew the 26 or so jumps to get to Torrinos. I decided to send in a cannon fodder alt first since I had my suspicions it would be camped. Jumped in, 18 in local and most of them appeared to sit on the gate waiting for visitors to jump in. Needless to say my alt woke up in a new tailored pod. Would be nice to see D2 make the system more than a camp magnet and keep a police force in system. Sure I know Turkantho said "If you can dock(*) you can purchase a Jump Clone", but no one can be supprised if the empire gate will be camped every night for a while, can they?

Not know if you are on insta-defence mode but it wasn't a flame. I wasn't complaining was I? I put forward an obervation and a wish ("would be nice if D2...") didn't I? Where did I flame or complain on how D2 was running it? You need to realise that this wasn't anti-d2 in anyway and it sure as hell dont have anything to do with the wars and stuff. Im 100% neutral, mining my on business. I would say I was the one being flamed

Rather at the general attitude in the commuinity that if your enemy does something to be nice, he does it to exploit you or hes a carebear. Some of these names replying are just alts, some are trolls, some just joke, other just fail be cool. Would be nice if we could keep the system clean, however, that is nearly impossible. Especially now that there are more important and fun stuff to attend too.
